Ruth’s Saturday Screech

Animation has been of the highest quality in 2009 and that trend continues with this week’s release 9. While everyone may be harping on about This Is It it’s the Tim Burton produced 9 that we should all be talking about. Before you decide what to watch at the cinema this weeks give our 9 review a read.

Yes there’s more Michael Jackson controversy as a rare home video of the late star has somehow been leaked onto the Internet. Poor Jacko he is more in demand now than he was when he was alive!

Rio Ferdinand was not at the Manchester premier of Dead Man Running last night despite being a producer on the movie. Now I have a couple of questions 1. What the hell does Ferdinand know about filmmaking? And 2 shouldn’t he be concentrating on his little job of playing for Manchester United?

About Ruth

Word up! I am the music editor at FemaleFirst.co.uk. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Biffy Clyro and A Day To Remember. I do have rather biglove for the Now Thats What I Call Music CD's though. Katie Price annoys me but I love how she's made a name for herself by being annoying. That takes some work.

  1. loverly says:

Amy’s View: Sybil Hudson’s sensitively directed :Amy’s View” stars a compelling Lauren Maddox as Amy, a young woman who, when we meet her, is about to marry a film director that her mother can’t stand. The play follows Amy for sixteen years and Maddox particularly excels at capturing the different stages of Amy’s life – from eager almost-bride to harried mother to duped single mom still trying to defend her integrity. Maddox never gives this character self pity – rather, she’s bitingly funny even as her character wears down. Maddox is certainly an actress to watch and her textured performance in “Amy’s View” makes the ending all the more tragic.
