Glorious 39 sees drector Stephen Poliakoff return to the big screen for the first time in ten years.
Leading his cast is Romola Garai, who shot to fame with Atonement back in 2007, as she stars alongside Bill Nighy and Julie Christie.
The year is 1939 and Britain stands on the brink of war. The Keyes family are determined to preserve their traditional English way of life in these perilously uncertain times.
The adopted, eldest sibling Anne (Romola Garai) is a budding young actress in love with Foreign Office official Lawrence (Charlie Cox).
But Anne’s seemingly perfect, carefree life surrounded by friends and family begins to unravel dramatically when she stumbles across secret recordings hidden in the out-buildings of the family home.
Whilst she tries to uncover the origin of these recordings, a web of dark secrets begins to unfurl, along with a growing sense of menace and betrayal.
