Kelly Osbourne Delays Her Wedding Till Hubby Is Legal… November 19, 2009

Kelly Osbourne has decided to put off her impending marriage to fiancé Luke Worrall for another two years, because she wants him to be able to drink at the couple’s reception!

As the legal drinking age in the US is 21, and poor little Luke is only 19, it would mean that he wouldn’t ever be able to have a glass of bubbly at his own wedding and would instead be forced to toast his marriage with a glass of pop.

Whilst Kelly (who is one of my actual heroes) is six years older than her 19-year old beau, she did say; “We’ll get married when I want to. Luke isn’t even 21 yet, so he can’t drink in America, so what’s the point in getting married until he can?” err, because you love him maybe?

I’ve kind of got two issues with this – number one… drinking really shouldn’t be a problem if you want to get married that much, but secondly, isn’t 19 a bit young to be getting married? What do YOU think? Will they still be together by the time the nuptials come around in two years?
