Ruth’s Christmas Wish List November 3, 2009
Posted by Ruth in : Ruth's Ramblings , trackback
Fair enough I’ll be lucky if I get a piece of old bread out of anyone this Xmas but I’m hoping my mum / stepsister / housemate or Vivienne Westwood will take an interest in my life and have a peep at what I do for a living.
To be honest, my mum thinks the World Wide Web involves a huge spider like the one that wraps Frodo up in during the Lord Of The Rings – Return Of The King, so she’s out, but Antonia, you have no excuse….
The Music – Biffy Clyro – Only Revolutions

The Movie – PS I Love You

I used to live with the movies writer here so I had unrivalled access to her four massive cases of Check Disk’s that our faithful PR’s send out every week; but now that she’s gone, so have Gerard Butler and Harry Connick Jnr… as well as my hopes that not all the men on the planet will break my heart. Or die.
The Bling – Vivienne Westwood Orb Necklace

The Car – Citroen C3

Now, I’m not going to ask for a Porsche, Lotus or a Lamborghini (as I know my racing driver husband will buy me one of those when I find him), so I’m wanting a practical city car, and this is the car I passed my test in, so I’m thinking it’s a sign that I have to have one?
The Shoes – Christian Louboutin

Who else? I love shoes, I don’t know what it is with me… I hardly ever go out, so I have no need for 30 pairs of shoes in my bedroom, but I just can’t get enough of platforms… if I’m honest, with all the money I’ve spent on shoes which look identical over the years I probably could have afforded some of these. Saving never was my strong point…
I mean, I usually like men covered in tattoos and prancing around with a guitar, but he is just GORGEOUS, and he can drive. Okay, so I can drive, but he can really driiiiiive… I’ve even become a Marshal at Oulton Park in the hope of finding my own Vettel (Ahem, Victor Cox anyone….?) and obviously because I love motorsport! But just in case I don’t get to next years Grand Prix… call me!
Thanks Santa,
Ruth….xx

I think it is a good idea to start thinking about christmas at the begining of november. There are always lots of things to buy and I always end up forgetting something!
