Paul McCartney is a lovely chap isn’t he? So whilst he might be over what that old toad did to him, we are definitely not. So when I heard he’d opened up about his divorce from the one-legged wonder, I have to have a butchers.
So whilst Heather might have spent most of their couple’s divorce proceedings speaking about the in’s and out’s of their marriage to the press, Paul had always kept a dignified silence. Until now of course.
Finally, our favourite Beatle has admitted that marrying Heather may have been a mistake… yeah, you don’t say Mr McCartney!
In an interview with Q magazine, a journalist asked if getting wed to Mucca was the biggest mistake of the last decade, to which Sir Paul replied, “OK, yeah. I suppose that has to be the prime contender.”
But the icing on the cake came when he spoke of his happiness with new missus, Nancy Shevell, whom he referred to as one of the “best things this century”… So Heather is the mistake of the past 10 years, but Nancy is the best thing to happen in the past 100? Big ouch for Mucca there!
I reckon we’ll probably hear something from ‘Mouth Mills’ before the end of the day!

He didn’t say anything bad and he did say that he always tries to find the good in it. He said he has a “beautiful daughter”.
Heather on the other hand trashed him for several years.
He has dignity – she has her divorce settlement.
I’m 48, will always be a fan of Paul’s. Like a million girls of girls back then I was sure I was going to marry Paul McCartney. But I was happy to see Paul blessed with such a wonderful wife as Linda and I’m glad to see him happy once again w/Nancy. Heather is the loser in so many ways. If only she cold have look beyond the $$ signs and seen the beautiful man Paul really is, not only on the outside buth the inside as well.
