Why is Brittany Murphy’s Husband Trying To Block The Post Mortem?

Brittany Murphy’s husband has tried to block a post mortem being carried out on his late wife it has been revealed. But why?

Okay, we understand the idea of your late wife being examined for a cause of death might not be to everyone’s taste in the hours after they have died, but surely if an otherwise healthy, 32 year old woman had a massive cardiac arrest in the shower, you’d want a good explanation?

British born Simon Monjack allegedly requested that the procedure was not carried out, but it was overruled by the coroners. But not only that, last night Brittany’s dad  spoke out about his daughter’s husband in not very positive terms.

According to Heatworld, he said of her widower; “Ever since she married that Simon, I lost contact with her but I always kept track of her to make sure she was OK in case she needed me. She married him and everything changed. After that, we weren’t so close.”

Whilst Simon himself is obviously devastated over the death, he has asked for his privacy to be respected, but none the less, speculation continues as to what lead to the loss of such a great actress.

Although nothing will be certain until the toxiocology results come back – in around six weeks – there are rumours rife, and after The Sun reported that Brittany had previously denied taking cocaine, saying: “I am way too high-strung. I think my heart would explode.” We just hope to goodness that if it wasn’t completely natural, that this tragic loss was nothing but a terrible accident.

R.I.P Brittany, our thoughts are with you and your family.

About Ruth

Word up! I am the music editor at FemaleFirst.co.uk. My favourite bands are Nightwish, Biffy Clyro and A Day To Remember. I do have rather biglove for the Now Thats What I Call Music CD's though. Katie Price annoys me but I love how she's made a name for herself by being annoying. That takes some work.
