Katie Price Pregnant? Yawn

Katie Price can’t go through a week without being single / pregnant or in some major fight with some person or another – and this weeks ‘news’ is that she might be pregnant.

Apparently she was off the booze at the National Television Awards last week and when she was asked if she wanted a drink by a friend, she patted her tummy and replied, “Nah, I feel really fat.”

Okay, so she hasn’t been drinking, she feels fat, either she’s actually pregnant, or (and more likely) she’s tired of Alex Reid getting press attention and thinks it’s about time she has some column inches of her own.

So, patting tummy and not drinking was clearly Katie’s way of making damn sure the papers wrote about her, and look here, it’s working – just keep your eye on Twitter, I’m sure she’ll be rambling on there soon.

Hot Tub Time Machine Trailer

Hot Tub Time Machine sees John Cusack return to the big screen for the first time in 2010.

The movie follows a group of best friends who’ve become bored with their adult lives: Adam (Cusack) has been dumped by his girlfriend; Lou (Rob Corddry) is a party guy who can’t find the party; Nick’s (Craig Robinson) wife controls his every move; and video game-obsessed Jacob (Clark Duke) won’t leave his basement.

After a crazy night of drinking in a ski resort hot tub, the men wake up, heads’ pounding, in the year 1986.

This is their chance to kick some past and change their futures – one will find a new love life, one will learn to stand up for himself with the ladies, one will find his mojo, and one will make sure he still exists!

If you want to step back in time then take a look at the trailer:

Cyrus Trailer

The Sundance Film Festival isn’t far away and we get to take a look at some of the independent movies that are on the horizon.

And Cyrus is just one of those films bringing together a great cast of Marisa Tomei, Johan Hill, Cathrine Keener and John C.Riley.

With John’s social life at a standstill and his ex-wife about to get remarried, a down on his luck divorcee finally meets the woman of his dreams, only to discover she has another man in her life – her son.

Written and directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, the iconoclastic filmmaking team behind Sundance Film Festival favorite “The Puffy Chair,” “Cyrus” takes an insightful and funny look at love and family in contemporary Los Angeles.

Haiti Charity Song – Cowell, It’s The Wrong Song Choice

Is it just me, or does anyone else think the choice of REM’s single, Everybody Hurts as Simon Cowell’s Haiti charity single is just a bit of an odd choice? I mean, it is one of my all-0time favourite songs, but it’s like ‘Everybody Hurts Haiti, get on with it.‘

So, I wasn’t expecting Kool & the Gang’s Celebration to be the choice, but this would NOT have been my first thought, I mean, it’s just a bit depressing isn’t it? Surely it would have been better to chose something which inspired hope?

Either way, it hasn’t stopped stars clamouring over each other in the hope of being chosen to feature on the track, and vocalists such as Leona Lewis, JLS, George Michael, Rod Stewart, Lady GaGa, Michael Buble, Take That and Robbie Williams are all said to have offered their services.

At the same time, Florence and the Machine will donate all the proceeds of an upcoming gig to the charity whilst Will Young, Joe McElderry and even N-Dubz (cough cough) are keen to get involved.

I know I’ll be buying the track, regardless of whether or not I think Cowell picked ‘the wrong song’

Ruth’s Friday Fuzz

After writing a news story this morning about how ‘furious’ N-Dubz were after only receiving one nomination at next month’s Brit awards bash I have to say, I would like to inform the band that they need to GET OVER IT.

The Hills star Heidi Montag-Pratt’s music career has taken an embarrassing hit after her debut album has sold just over 1,000 copies in the U.S – but come on, are any of us actually shocked?

Amy Winehouse might have taken her time in doing so, but she has finally apologised for attacking a theatre manager when she was drunk last year.

It seems that the Golden Globes have started something as Avatar leads the Bafta Award nominations. British film An Education leads the British charge with a healthy number of homegrown talent amongst the nods.

It would seem that Quentin Tarantino tried to choke Diane Kruger whilst filming a fight scene for Inglourious Basterds. I don’t think that how you win over your leading ladies Quentin!

Ivyrise are officially our favourite celebrity best mates (sorry about that Sebastian Vettel) and seen as though they’re dead nice and hunky and have a new single coming out, we thought we’d invite them back into our office.
