OMG… You MUST Listen To This New Song By Japanese Voyeurs

Okay, I’m going to be honest with you (not that’s I’m always honest like…) the first time someone emailed me about the Japanese Voyeurs I just ignored them because I thought their name was a bit daft – I’m sick of hearing about Japan considering my ex boyfriend dumped me and is now married to a Japanese girl and shacked up with her and the kids… but couldn’t commit to me!

Anyway, another contributing factor (other than the dumbass ex) was the fact that their debut EP was called ‘Sicking And Creaming’, I mean really? I’m all about play on words, but that just makes me feel sick. And I like the FFAF song Kicking And Screaming.

So they went in the ‘never to review’ box.

But after being persuaded to watch the video for their new single, That Love Sound, by a little acquaintance of mine, I am quite impressed, and almost feel bad for never giving their first release a try… but I cam make up for it now right?

So, the single will be released on February 8th 2010, via – wait for it, another ridiculous name coming up – Slimeball Records, and I can assure you it’s going to be in all the grungy clubs in not time.

So, if you like that song at the end of that film 10 Things I Hate About You, you know, the one that goes; “I want you to want meeeeee, I need you to neeeeeed me”. then you’ll probably like this.

Celebrity Big Brother : Nicola T & Ivana Trump Evicted

Nicola T and Ivana Trump fell at the final hurdle last night when they were booted out of the Celebrity Big brother house in a shock eviction.

Ivana, 60, became the first housemate to leave the enclosure after just 5.74 per cent of viewers voted for her to win the series – the poor thing, she wasn’t that bad surely? Either way, she was humble and said; “I had a fantastic experience. I met some really wonderful housemates.”

The second eviction – Nicola T – was a total shock though, especially since everyone thought it would be Vinnie Jones doing the walk of shame… however Nic only bagged herself 6.15 per cent of the public vote – I guess people just didn’t have strong feelings about her either way.

The glamour model, 27, was in the Diary Room wearing a chicken outfit when she was told she was ut, and she had to leave the house immediately, with no chance to say godbye to her housemates or put on any shoes.  Speaking to Davina afterwards, she said: “It has been amazing, a massive rollercoaster of wickedness and boredom as well. I probably would have cried if I did say goodbye.”

Bless her… but the most exciting event was when Davinr entered the house in Nicola’s chicken costume, pretending the model had returned, it was her first time in the house in the middle of a series and she was shaking with nerves after housemates “sussed” her!

Kick Ass Images

Kick Ass looks set to be one of the must see movies of this summer as Matthew Vaughn returns to the director’s chair.

The movie, which is based on the comic book of the same name by Mark Millar and John Romita, Jr, brings together new names such as Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz and mixes them with the more established names of Nicolas Cage and Mark Strong.

Dave Lizewski is an unnoticed high school student and comic book fan who one day decides to become a super-hero, even though he has no powers, training or meaningful reason to do so.

Ruth’s Thursday Thoughts

First we had Kate Moss and that bloody “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels” statement, and now Alexa Chung has gone and angered her fans with her recent Bing advert in which she appears to poke fun at rumours that she has an eating disorder. Which obviously, isn’t cool at all. It’s no laughing matter Alexa love.

Can you actually believe that thousands of rock fans across the globe are campaigning to make Heavy Metal and official religion alongside Church of England, Roman Catholic, Muslim, Buddhist and Hindu?!? Will YOU be converting?

Robbie Williams is celebrating 20 years in the music business this year, and to celebrate, he has given his new release, Morning Sun, to sport relief as their official charity single for 2010.

Ivyrise are officially our favourite celebrity best mates (sorry about that Sebastian Vettel) and seen as though they’re dead nice and hunky and have a new single coming out, we thought we’d invite them back into our office.
