Denise Van Outen and husband Lee Mead have revealed that they are expecting a baby girl, and her nickname is, umm, teapot.
Okay, so we know we’ve had Gwyneth and Apple and Katie Price and Princess Taimi, but now our beloved Denise looks like she’s joined the barmy club after naming her belly teapot.
Fair enough, it’s because the happy couple have already picked a name for their baby, but that it’s going to remain a secret until the birth. However, if Teapot is a codename, God only knows what the ‘real’ name is… Earl grey, Darjeeling, PJ Tips?

Whilst teapot is a silly name, I think unusual baby names are great. I called my little girl Ostara – after the godness of Easter (which is when she was born) and it really suits her.
It even inspired me to start my own business which makes personalised embroidered baby names on organic sleepsuits, blankets etc.
