There’s No Such Thing As Accidental Infidelity – You Me At Six’s Best Song?

Is it just me, or does anyone else with the new You Me At Six album (Hold Me Down) think that There’s No Such Thing As Accidental Infidelity is quite possibly the best song on there?

I only really started listening to the album properly on Monday despite having a copy for about a month now (I know, it’s terrible), but I CANNOT stop listening to Track 10. every time I get in the car, I put it on first.

I’ve always championed this band as I think they encapsulate everything music needs at the moment, and can entertain teens as well as ‘grown up’s’ like myself, and whilst this track might be blasting out of teenager’s iPods all over the country, I have to admit, I’m on the bandwagon.

It’s not often…. in fact scrap that, I  don’t think I have ever written something like this – but this track is one of the best unreleased tracks I’ve heard in the past 12 months.

There’s just some epicness to it, especially with the hardcore-inspired gang chant at the end. You HAVE to download it right now if you have any sense -I’m going to have it on repeat on the drive home!

Kick Ass Full Length Trailer

Kick Ass looks set to be one of the movies of this summer, I personally can’t wait to get a look at this.

Directed by Matthew Vaughn, returning to the director’s chair for the first time since Stardust, the movie brings together a blend of new talent such as Aaron Johnson and Chloe Moretz star alongside Mark Strong and Nicolas Cage.

Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero.

As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name, Kick-Ass, assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers.

His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage) – and forges a friendship with another fledging super hero, Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).

But thanks to the scheming of a local mob boss Frank D’Amico (Mark Strong), that new alliance will be put to the test.

Here is the full length trailer for the film:

The Wolfman Clips

Vampire movies may have dominated the box office of late but it’s now the turn of the werewolf as the release of The Wolfman is just a week away.

The film brings together a great cast of Benicio Del Toro, Antony Hopkins, Emily Blunt and Hugo Weaving and is directed by Joe Johnston, making his first movie since Hidalgo in 2004.

Del Toro stars as Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself.

Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget.

But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search.

He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.

Take a look at a couple of clips from the movie:

Alexandra Burke Heads To Haiti

Alexandra Burke has become the latest star to jump on the help For Haiti bandwagon and feels the need to share the fact that she’s helping the impoverished country with the entire nation.

As you know, I am getting a little tired of celebrities telling me that they’ve done this or that for Haiti as though they deserve a Blue Peter badge or something, okay, so you’ve donated a couple of thousand, but that’s the same as us giving £1 in the scheme of things really, and do we feel the need to alert the press?

Would you, my readers really appreciate it if I wrote a whole article with the headline ‘Ruth Harrison gives £5 to Haiti’? No.

Ruth’s Friday Fallout (Boy)

Fall Out Boy, the cornerstone of all things emo, could have caused a national crisis after front man Patrick Stump has confirmed he is no longer working with the group and doesn’t think they will ever return from the hiatus they announced last November.

John Mayer has become the latest celebrity to dig deep for the survivors of the Haiti earthquake, but what I want to know is, why does he, and other celebrities, feel the need to make their donation known?

Beyonce Knowles is going to be joining the first lady of music, Miss GaGa at the BRIT Awards later this month. Despite the fact that Mrs Jay-Z was said to be too busy to pop over to the UK for a bit of a song and dance, it is thought that she has changed her schedule in order to sing with Lady Gaga on their raunchy duet ‘Telephone’.

Love Peter Gabriel? Then take at look at our amazing video interview of him talking aobut his latest release.

Ivyrise are officially our favourite celebrity best mates (sorry about that Sebastian Vettel) and seen as though they’re dead nice and hunky and have a new single coming out, we thought we’d invite them back into our office.
