Katie Price could face another colossal knock to her fan base today after she’s admitted that she lied about breaking things off with Alex Reid in the hope of boosting her publicity.
Whilst we hate to admit that it did actually work, why on earth was she complaining so much when the papers were hoarding her as she left the jungle when the whole kafuffle was orchestrated by her publicity hungry self?
The ‘glamour’ girl has confessed that she deliberately pretended the pair had split up in order to boost ratings for her show What Katie Did Next – which documents the whole ‘break up and make up’.
“None of you knew about it,” she said; “You can see [in the show] relationships can happen and we don’t have to tell people everything. Yes Katie, that’s right, but to be honest you do seem to enjoy airing your dirty laundry in public.
She has admitted that her marriage to Alex would be more private than her and Peter Andre’s, and said; “We are going to be more mysterious, more private, it’s my way – not your way!” Erm, I wonder how on Earth Katie is planning to be ‘mysterious’ when she tends to leave very little to the imagination.

Well, it’s just like her, isn’t it. I actually quite like Price; she’s succesful and she worked hard for it. Good for her.

and as a single parent, i think she needs to move on from the single parent story cos she hasnt
had it hard. she doesnt know what its like to have good days and bad days.

She is very contradicting to herself and it’s really quite funny how desperate she always is for attention. Her number 1 prioroty in life is to have as much fame and as much money and attention as possible. It’s really quite sad.
I get where you are coming from, Angela, about the single parent thing. Does she seriously think that it’s ‘tough’ on her being a single parent? Yes, she cannot financially support her children… NOT. She should stop feeling sorry for herself and trying to get others to feel sorry for her. She doesn’t understand nor ever will experience how it is to be a single parent. Can she afford to have a roof over her head and pay bills so that she and her children do not get thrown out of their house? Yes, she can afford it. So she has NO idea what it is like for single parents.
And Sarah darling, perhaps you are a young girl who has limitations about how much you know about the world. Such a shame that a statement like yours proves just how much of a bad influence Katie Price has on kids like you. I’m just glad you’re not my daughter. (No offense).

I think some of the comments about katie being thick are really unfair – katie knows what she is and uses her assets to her advantage – I wonder how may people calling her thick are worth 30 million? And we hardly know the real person – how was she brought up – what were her values? sometimes people just have to make the most of what they were given.

KP is one of those celebs you just wish you’d never heard of. I frequently pray to try and excoriate the annoying woman from my brain, and that’s exactly what she would hate – for us to have no feelings about her whatsoever. Love her, hate her, it’s all money in the bank. I can understand how an army of chavvy unaspirational ‘wannabes’ admire her (after all she is their queen) but endorsing beauty products that only serve to sexualize little girls (as a for instance) is hardly admirable. Let’s hope the next generation ditches the whole fame fad in favour of thinking for itself!
