When I started out as a music journalist, never did I think id be writing about two US popstars, both kids, both loaded and both teenage heartthrobs. I mean, fair enough, I can see why kids fancy vampire Robert Pattinson, or even Justin Timberlake, but Beiber and Archuleta, come on, have their voices even broken?
So, we’re looking to bring an end to the Justin Bieber Vs. David Archuleta nonsense, and once and for all let you, the fans decide who is best. We know making you pick is like asking a mum to pick her favourite child or asking me to choose between Sebastian Vettel and Giovanni Ribisi, but because we’re mean (and we can) we’ve decided to throw it open to the fans.
Okay, so this kinda means that is one boy has more fans than the other they’re bound to win… and whilst we reckon JB might have just a couple more teens on his side, our love for Mr Archuleta means we’re going to be ringing round all our mates and getting them to vote. No, we’re just joking, we wouldn’t want our ’scientific findings’ to be biased or anything.

Justin Bieber might not be legally old enough to do much in the US, but that hasn’t stopped him kicking some musical ass ever since his YouTube performances were picked up by his now-manager Scooter Braun.
Annoyingly, he decided to release his debut album in two parts, and the leas single, One Time did exceptionally well, despite the fact I thought it was a girl singing until I saw the video in the gym about a month ago.

The first part of his two-part[7] debut album My World was released on “One Time”, “One Less Lonely Girl”, “Love Me”, and “Favorite Girl”, were all Top 15 hits on the Canadian Hot 100 and Top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 before the album was even released!
In less than a month of release, the album was certified Platinum in Canada, and in less than two months later, the album was certified Platinum in the United States, selling over a million copies. It was also certified Silver in the United Kingdom.
Unsurprisingly then, Bieber was named the hottest star of 2009 by J-14, newcomer of the year by MuchMusic, and listed by Celebuzz as one of the Top 10 YouTube stars of the decade – but has he won YOU over?

I don’t hate or like Justin Bieber. I must admit that he’s got talent but his music isn’t my type at all. I’d rather listen to David’s music becuase of it relaxes me. His songs are meaningful and his voice is just… wonderful! What I like about him is that he’s so down-to-earth and amazing. Sometimes I wish I’ll meet him someday (I mean face-to-face) and give him big hug… haha.
I think JB and DA deserves the credit and popularity they get but DA deserves more.
David is a good guy. Words can’t describe him. For me there’s no way to compare David to Justin. They’re not the same.
Justin is great in his way as well. But there’s nothing to compare.
Their kind of music is not the same.
As you can see.. they are so different in anything.
