The Losers Trailer

The Losers could be one of the sleeper hits of the year when it hits cinema screens this summer.

Directed by Sylvain White the movie brings together a great cast of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Zoe Saldana, Chris Evans, Idris Elba and Columbus Short.

A tale of double cross and revenge, centered upon the members of an elite U.S. Special Forces unit sent into the Bolivian jungle on a search and destroy mission.

The team-Clay, Jensen, Roque, Pooch and Cougar -find themselves the target of a lethal betrayal instigated from inside by a powerful enemy known only as Max.

Presumed dead, the group makes plans to even the score when they’re joined by the mysterious Aisha, a beautiful operative with her own agenda.

Working together, they must remain deep undercover while tracking the heavily-guarded Max, a ruthless man bent on embroiling the world in a new high-tech global war.

Paper Man Trailer

Ryan Reynolds has been making movies left, right and centre of late and he teams up with Jeff Daniels for his latest project Paper Man.

Directed by Kieran Mulroney & Michele Mulroney, who just so happen to be penning the new Sherlock Holmes script, the movie also stars Lisa Kudrow, Emma Stone and Kieran Culkin.

An unlikely friendship forms between Richard, a failed middle-aged novelist who has never quite grown up and Abby, a 17-year-old girl whose role in a family tragedy years earlier has stolen away her youth.

Both are unsure, both are afraid to take firm steps forward, and both rely on the imaginary friends in their heads to help guide them into the future – for Richard, it is the costumed superhero Captain Excellent, and for Abby, it’s morose fellow teenager Christopher.

At the urging of his wife Claire, Richard has moved to a Long Island beach community for the winter season in order to overcome his writer’s block.

There, Richard meets Abby and hires her as a weekly babysitter, even though he has no children. Their tenuous, new friendship is sparked by Richard’s awe over Abby’s homemade soup and Abby’s enjoyment of Richard’s writing and his attempts at Origami.

As the season progresses and the warm, quirky friendship between Richard and Abby grows, the two begin to share with each other their dreams and life hardships.

Becoming the best of friends, Richard and Abby discover there comes a time to let go of imaginary friends of the past and to embrace the future as a new beginning – just as one would embrace a new and unique friendship.

Adam Rickitt To Return *Swoon*

Adam Rickitt is planning to ‘Breathe Again’ after more than 10 years and is finally going to follow up on his rather disastrous solo career.

Back when I was reading Smash Hits! magazine and learning about science and stuff, Adam quit his job as Nick Tilsley in Corrie and decided to try and make something of himself as a popstar. Sadly that didn’t quite go to plan.

With the exception of his Number 5 single – I Breathe Again – Adam’s music career was pretty much a non-starter, his debut album, Good Times only reached number 41, and he was dropped from his six-album deal.

However, this isn’t stopping the baby-faced, six packed pop star from giving it another shot, and according to his press release, he’s planning on; “rocketing back into the music biz, teaming up with international producers such as Richard Grey, Run DMC Legend Jason Nevins and Clubland for which is set to be his biggest year to date”.

Wonderful. I’m ready to crack open my Kappa bottoms with the press studs down the side and get my groove on.

Alex Reid Cancels The ‘Fight Of His Life’

Alex Reid has back out of his fight with Tom “Kong” Watson, despite the fact that he’s made an entire TV show to hype up the whole thing.

Just a month before he was due to get in the ring with ‘Kong’, Alex has pulled the plug, regardless of the past few months of travelling around the globe picking up new fighting techniques.

The whole thing was supposed to be for his Bravo show Alex Reid: The Fight Of His Life, with this fight being the final hurdle – hence the name, ‘Fight Of His Life,’ giving him the chance to put all of the skills he’s learnt into practice.

Apparently though, Alex has hurt his leg, and doesn’t want to fight Mr Kong anymore, who has said; “I am so angry. It’s a complete joke.” you’ll be laughing the other side of your face is Katie Price hears you’ve been slagging of her husband.

Ruth’s Friday Fumble

Forget the rumours that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are on the brink of a divorce – it looks like the truth is quite the opposite as my favourite actress is rumoured to be pregnant with her fourth biological child!

Wow, it looks as though Dappy and Mel Gibson have something in common, as they have both been dumped by the ladies in their lives, on the same day.

We’d like to say that Strictly Come Dancing is a great way for former Sugababe Keisha Buchanan to thrust herself back into the limelight, but after being ditched by her former band mates after accusations of bullying, it looks like the last chance saloon for the singer.

It’s not five minutes since Sherlock Holmes was on the big screen, it was released at Christmas, and a new script is being penned as we speak. Michele Mulroney is currently putting together the second script and admits that it’s going to be a ‘fun’ movie.

Rafael Nadal produced another impressive display yesterday to reach the quarter finals of the Monte Carlo Masters. The defending champion needed just fifty five minutes to beat Michael Barrer 6-0 6-1… sixth straight title anyone?

Andy Murray can’t explain his recent poor run of form continues, slumping to a humiliating 6-2 6-1 defeat at the hand of Philip Kohlshcreiber. The Scot made the semi finals of the competition and will lose ranking points, putting his fourth spot in danger.
