New Inception Posters

We may have blockbusters and comedy movies coming at us left right and cetre this summer but Inception looks set to be the most intriguing movies of the summer.

At long last Christopher Nolan is back in the director’s chair with his first project since the mega success of The Dark Knight back in the summer of 2008.

With an impressive cast of Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Cillian Murphy, Ellen Page, Joseph Gordon-Levitt the movie looks set to be one of the most original things that we will see on the big screen. On the other hand it may just leave us more confused than we are already.

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable.

Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but, it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible…inception.

Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But, no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move.

An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming. This summer, your mind is the scene of the crime.

Big Brother 11 : The Advert

Big Brother is back and I can hardly contain my excitement! Now that we’re BFF’s with last year’s housemate Karly Ashworth, we’re jumping around like a little flea in anticipation of this year’s series.

So we’ve already had 10 series consisting of snogging, fighting, crying, nakedness and a woman shoving a wine bottle up her doo-dah, but we’re thrilled to see what happens in the final series ever. On Channel 4 anyway.

Once you hear that famous theme music there’s no stopping you as your heart races a little faster and your face breaks into a Cheshire Cat grin, so with that in mind, we cant wait to show you the BB11 advert.

A few weeks ago a handful of past BB housemates filmed the ad  to celebrate the final series, with everyone from Brian Belo and Samanda to Nasty Nick and the voiceover man Marcus Bentley making an appearance.

Are you excited about the return of BB, or are you dreading weeks of Channel 4 being ‘ruined’?

Tooth Fairy Clips

Dwayne Johnson is back on the big screen this week with his new movie Tooth Fairy…. You have got to love a bit of The Rock right?

Directed by Michael Lembeck the movie sees Johnson team up with Julie Andrews, Ashely Judd, Billy Crystal and Stephen Merchant.

Derek Thompson is ‘The Tooth Fairy,’ a hard-charging minor league hockey player whose nickname comes from his habit of separating opposing players from their bicuspids.

When Derek discourages a youngster’s hopes, he’s sentenced to one week’s hard labor as a real tooth fairy, complete with the requisite tutu, wings and magic wand.

At first, Derek “can’t handle the tooth” – bumbling and stumbling as he tries to furtively wing his way through strangers’ homes…doing what tooth fairies do.

But as Derek slowly adapts to his new position, he begins to rediscover his own forgotten dreams.

The movie is released on Friday and here are a couple of clips:

Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work Trailer

Joan Rivers is one of the funniest women in stand up but everyone has insecurities and fears. And these are laid bare in her new documentary Joan Rivers: A Piece of Work.

Joan Rivers: A Piece Of Work exposes the private dramas of irreverent, legendary comedian and pop icon Joan Rivers as she fights tooth and nail to remain the queen of comedy.

Filmed as a cinema verite documentary, the film reveals a rare glimpse of the comedic process and the toxic mixture of self-doubt and anger that often fuels it.

Joan’s story is both an outrageously funny journey and a brutally honest look at the ruthless entertainment industry, the trappings of success and the ultimate vulnerability of the life of a performer.

Take a look at the trailer for the movie:

Ruth’s Tuesday Tickle

The Pussycat Dolls have unveiled their new line up featuring only one member of the original band. Crikey, we’ve put down the cake and joined the gym.

Is it really all over for Ronan Keating and his wife Yvonne? Apparently the star has flown home to beg his missus to take him back, but she’s already taken the wedding ring off. Would YOU take him back?

It’s the song that’s been gripping the nation ever since it popped onto our screens as the accompaniment to the John Lewis ad, and now the incredible Fyfe Dangerfield have revealed the video for what has become the soundtrack to my summer.

Ashton Kutcher admitted that he got in shape for his new movie Killers, in which he stars alongside Katherine Heigl. Now have you seen the trailer for Killers? Trust me it will be well worth a watch just to cop a load of Kutcher!

Rio looks set to be one of the big animation movies of 2010 when it is released later this year, it’s from the guys that brought us Ice Age. And in true FemaleFirst fashion we have the first trailer for the movie.
