The Sorcerer’s Apprentice Extended Clip

The more footage I see of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice the more I’m looking forward to, you really can’t beat a bit of Nicolas Cage at his eccentric best.

The movie sees him reunite with National Treasure filmmaker Jon Turteltaub as sees him star alongside Jay Baruchel, Alfred Molina and Monica Bellucci.

Balthazar Blake (Nicolas Cage) is a master sorcerer in modern-day Manhattan trying to defend the city from his arch-nemesis, Maxim Horvath (Alfred Molina).

Balthazar can’t do it alone, so he recruits Dave Stutler (Jay Baruchel), a seemingly average guy who demonstrates hidden potential, as his reluctant protégé.

The sorcerer gives his unwilling accomplice a crash course in the art and science of magic, and together, these unlikely partners work to stop the forces of darkness.

It’ll take all the courage Dave can muster to survive his training, save the city and get the girl as he becomes The Sorcerer’s Apprentice.

Leonardo DiCaprio Inception Interview

Leonardo DiCaprio is back on the big screen this summer with new movie Inception, which could be one of the most intriguing movies of 2010 so far as he teams up with filmmaker Christopher Nolan.

Dom Cobb is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable.

Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

Salt Clip

Now we haven’t seen Angelina on the big screen for a fair old while, the last time she appeared in a movie was Wanted and Changeling back in 2008; the later bringing her an Oscar nomination.

But all that it about to change this summer as she is back in a new action packed thriller Salt. Directed by Phillip Noyce the movie sees Jolie team up with Liev Schreiber and Chiwetel Ejiofor.

Before becoming a CIA officer, Evelyn Salt swore an oath to duty, honor, and country. She will prove loyal to these when a defector accuses her of being a Russian sleeper spy.

Salt goes on the run, using all her skills and years of experience as a covert operative to elude capture, protect her husband, and stay one step ahead of her colleagues at the CIA, as the hunt to uncover the truth behind her identity continues and the question remains: “Who is Salt?”

Machete Images

Robert Rodriguez may be on producing duties with his new release Predators but he is back in the director’s chair later this year for Machete, which bring together a great cast.

Machete (Danny Trejo) a renegade former Mexican Federale, roaming the streets of Texas after a shakedown from drug lord Torrez (Steven Seagal).

Reluctantly, Machete takes an offer from spin doctor Benz (Jeff Fahey) to assassinate McLaughlin (Robert De Niro) a corrupt Senator.

Double crossed and on the run Machete braves the odds with the help of Luz (Michelle Rodriguez), a saucy taco slinger, Padre (Cheech Marin) his ‘holy’ brother, and April (Lindsay Lohan) a socialite with a penchant for guns.

All while being tracked by Sartana (Jessica Alba), a sexy ICE agent with a special interest in the blade slinger.

Ruth’s Thursday Thing

Dannii Minogue might have been pregant like, forever, but she’s finally given birth to a baby boy called Ethan.

Lindsay Lohan has finally been made an example of by a US judge after she was sentenced to 90 days in jail after she violated her probation for a 2007 drink-driving charge.

To be honest, I’m surprised Amber Rose stuck with Kanye West for so long because he seems like a little bit of a nightmare, but for now it looks as though she’s kicked him to the kerb.

Avril Lavigne and Brody Jenner clearly need to have a read of my latest news story, as they’ve only been dating since February this year but they have already got tattoos of each other’s names. Have they not SEEN what happened when Katie and Pete split up?
