To say that Russell Brand is in demand in Hollywood at the moment would be a little bit of an understatement as he seems to be making movie after movie.

The funnyman has already enjoyed success this year with Get Him To The Greek as well as lending his voice to animation movie Despicable Me, which topped the U.S. box office but hasn’t been released in the UK yet.

He has also completed work on The Tempest, which sees him work alongside Helen Mirren, and he now reunites with the Oscar winner for new movie Arthur.

Paris Hilton Refuses To Discuss Cocaine Scandal

So, Paris Hilton was arrested for the third time this weekend after a bag of cocaine fell out of a handbag she was holding.

Paris and her man of the moment Cy Waits had been pulled over by police in Las Vegas when the debacle happened; according to reports Paris reached into the handbag to retrieve some lip balm and a package containing cocaine fell onto the floor. She was arrested but soon freed ‘pending further investigation’.

Earlier this year she was arrested in South Africa for allegedly smoking a spliff and then a little later was banged up in Corsica for having cannabis in her bag – crikey, she isn’t half getting herself into a pickle isnt she?

Lawyers for Paris have issued a statement saying, “This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law.”

Paris needn’t worry though as all her friends are claiming the handbag is “too cheap” to belong to her so it couldn’t’ have been hers… she must have just been borrowing someone else’s lip balm.
