Heidi Gets Mad Over Spencer’s Sex-Tape Threat

Just when you thought Spencer Pratt couldn’t actually become a bigger idiot, he somehow manages to surprise us all by threatening to sell a sex-tape he allegedly made with his ex, Heidi Montag.

Obviously being unable to score any headline for just being himself, Spencer is keen to keep dragging himself behind the Montag bandwagon for as long as humanly possible, and this supposed sex tape is bound to get a bit more mileage out of his career.

Spencer bragged on Twitter this weekend; “Promises you the Citizen Kane of sex tapes. Honestly, Orson Wells makes a guest appearance,” before adding; “Recommends you wait for the Special Edition Sex Tape. Blu-Ray, director’s commentary, and bloopers!”

To which Heidi brilliantly responded; “F U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!” leading Spencer to mumble; “Seriously? You’re going to start shit on twitter?” before carrying on the debacle with the very mature “The sex tape will not feature any bisexuality.  It will however feature trisexuality.  Also – a triceratops.” and “@heidimontag needs to grow up.”

I’ll tell you who needs to grow up Spencer… their surname starts with P ends in T and rhymes with t*at.

Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace Reckons Peter Crouch Tried It On With Her. LOL

Ever desperate for publicity, Big Brother has-been Aisleyne Horgan-Wallace has been quick to cash in on the whole Peter Crouch love-rat story by letting slip to a gossip magazine that Pete tried it on with her while he was on a night out with girlfriend Abbey Clancy.

Quite why Peter would leave abbey in the middle of a bar to talk to Aisleyne is beyond me, but she reckons that the lanky footballer invited her to sit with him before offering to take her out to dinner or back to his place.

[picappgallerysingle id="9559743"]               Classy as ever….

According to the moralistic reality ‘star’, she questioned Peter about the fact that his girlfriend was actually in the same building but whilst  he admitted it, he added that he wasn’t happy… and neither was Abbey by the looks of things, as she soon stormed over and yelled at Peter before throwing a bottle at his head. Brilliant.

If Aisleyne is telling the truth and not just trying to blag herself some free publicity, we reckon Abbey should have sent her ex packing a long time ago, then again, having slept with a teenage prostitute, we should know about his rubbish taste in women already.

True Blood Co-Stars Get Hitched

Aww, so I still haven’t watched True Blood (someone please lend me their box set) but apparently on-screen lovers Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Sookie (Anna Paquin) got married for real this weekend after falling in love while making the show.

Stephen, 40, and 28-year-old Anna got hitched near Malibu beach whilst the sun was setting and everyone who was there have said that the evening was just “perfect.”

The pair have been together about two years now and we wish them lots of happiness in years to come!

Another Year Trailer

Another Year marks a change of sorts in Mike Leigh’s illustrious and distinctive career. His work has always been based around a wicked and acute sense of social observation that employs an unforgiving gaze to explore the neuroses of families or individuals.

At the centre of many of his films is a restless protagonist, angrily flailing against the world. In Another Year a wry and affectionate character study of a mostly middle-aged group of people Leigh stands this structure on its head, focusing on a happily married, completely grounded couple who soak up the frustrations and unhappiness of friends and family alike.

Husband and wife Tom and Gerri (perhaps cheekily named after the cartoon characters) lead blissful lives. They are deeply content in their relationship and satisfied with their careers; Tom (Jim Broadbent) is a geological engineer and Gerri (Ruth Sheen) a counselor. They are secure people whose outlet is the small market garden that they tend with loving care, come rain or shine.

Dividing his film into chapters based on the four seasons, Leigh structures his film around a series of encounters that feel almost Rohmerian. Friends and family drop by, occupy centre stage as they unload their problems and then exit, only to have their stories picked up as the film moves into another season.

Humour is never far from the surface of any Mike Leigh film, but the mood here is more complex, revolving around Tom and Gerri’s close friend, the fidgety and flighty Mary (Lesley Manville), a beauty past her prime who is still on the hunt for a mate. When her eyes settle on Gerri’s unsuspecting grown-up son, the story twists and turns in surprising odd and directions.

Another Year is a deeply absorbing look at a couple who seem to have gotten it right and a bunch of people who haven’t and a son that could go either way! Leigh’s grip on the material is unfailingly confident and his actors all deliver highly charged and beautifully shaded performances.

Another Year is a deeply absorbing look at people who have arrived at a point in their lives where happiness has been achieved by some but not by others.
