Karly Ashworth On The X Factor

I’m afraid that headline was a little ambiguous… I’m not actually ON the X Factor… but this weeks blog is going to be all about my views on the show… so let me see those arms high in the air because it is X FACTOR TIME!

After sadly loosing our beloved Big Brother from our screens just a few weeks ago, the whole of the nation have bonded together to metaphorically kiss the genius that is Simon Cowell’s feet for filling the empty television void! Woohoo!

It has to be said, no matter how busy I am or what I have planned, this show always manages to sneak its way in to my social calendar. To put it frankly, this show ROCKS!

From what I’ve seen already, this could be the most controversial year yet, with bootcamp becoming tougher, more celebrity judges to nit pick and even a PROSTITUTE taking a stab at it! Hmmm.

I know its early days but I have a few favourites already, The Reason, for quite OBVIOUS reasons, lil miss Cheryl Cole lookalike Cher Lloyd and my guilty pleasure… Diva Fever!

Like the rest of the British public, I’m still scratching my head trying to decide who is the hottest out of Cheryl or Nicole and now YouTubing the bunch of numpties that didn’t quite make the cut!

I am now off to sing into my hairbrush, who says I don’t have The X Factor?!!!

Lindsay Lohan’s Latest Drug Shame

Another day, another drug drama for Lindsay Lohan… this time she has been caught on camera with what appears to be a syringe full of heroin.

The photographs, which were allegedly taken back in 2007, document what looks like Lindsay having heroin injected into her lower back and arm, whilst another set of snaps show Lindsay kissing and cuddling with Paris Hilton.

A source told Heatworld; “These images of her with the syringe are terrifying. What no one knows for certain is just how often Lindsay does drugs – or exactly which drugs she does.”

Oh, Lindsay, It’s not big and certainly not clever.

Takers Clips

Takers brings together an all star emsemble cast in the lastest heist movie to hit the big screen so far in 2010.

Takers, directed by John Luessenhop, revolves around a notorious group of criminals (Idris Elba, Paul Walker, T.I., Chris Brown, Hayden Christensen and Michael Ealy) who continue to baffle police by pulling off perfectly executed bank robberies.

They are in and out like clockwork, leaving no evidence behind and laying low in between heists.

But when they attempt to pull off one last job with more money at stake than ever before, the crew may find their plans interrupted by a hardened detective (Matt Dillon) who is hell-bent on solving the case.

Takers is released later this week and we have a couple of clips to put you on until the weekend.

First Scream 4 Image

It’s been fourteen years since the Scream franchise first burst onto the big screen, yes it was way back in 1996.

Since then it has gone on to be one of the most successful, as well as popular, horror franchises of all time.

But next year sees Wez Craven return to the director’s chair for the long awaited fourth instalment. Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox reptise their roles as Sidney, Dewey and Gale.

And they are joined by Emma Roberts, Hayden Panettiere, Rory Culkin and Adam Brody.

Ten years have passed, and Sidney Prescott, who has put herself back together thanks in part to her writing, is visited by the Ghostface Killer.

Life As We Know It Clips

Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel are all set to team up for new comedy Life As We Know It, which is directd by Greg Berlanti.

Holly Berenson (Heigl) is an up-and-coming caterer and Eric Messer (Duhamel) is a promising network sports director.

After a disastrous first date, the only thing they have in common is their dislike for each other and their love for their goddaughter, Sophie.

But when they suddenly become all Sophie has in the world, Holly and Messer are forced to put their differences aside.

Juggling career ambitions and competing social calendars, they’ll have to find some common ground while living under one roof.

Life As We Know It is released 8th October. Take a look at some clips from the movie.
