I Am Utterly In Love With Atlas&i (Sorry Vettel)

Usually on my lunch break I sit around drinking tea and watching Hollyoaks on 4OD. But today I decided to have a bit of a Facebook stalking session, and stumbled across this, the new Atlas&i video.

I am actually in love with this band. I’d go as far as to say they could be the finest bunch of lads I’ve been listening to this year, but then I’d be doing the dirty on those boys in Young Guns and as I have their album and I don’t have one from Atlas&i, Gustav and co still retains first place.

HOWEVER, if you haven’t listened to the guys in Atlas&i yet, I suggest you stick your bloody earhones in RIGHT NOW and get amongst it, it’s simply dreamy.

Blimey! This Corrie Tram Crash Looks A Bit Dramatic

Coronation Street fans will be well aware that there are going to be some fantastic scenes in the coming weeks as the street celebrates its 50th Anniversary by killing off a load of its characters.

Some favourite faces from the popular ITV soap will find themselves caught up in the chaos, including Molly and baby Jack and as well as poor old Kevin and Becky.

The action kicks off from Monday, but we’ve got these sneaky snaps to keep you going until then… doesn’t it look exciting, and can it beat Eastenders’ live episode?

More The Fighter Clips

I know that we have had our fair share of boxing movies over the years but The Fighter is one of the early movies of 2011 that I’m really looking forward to.

The movie sees Mark Wahlberg join forces with Christian Bale and Amy Adams in the David O’Russell directed project.

Wahlberg stars in the inspirational docudrama exploring the remarkable rise of Massachusetts-born lightweight title winner “Irish” Micky Ward.

The movie follows a determined pugilist whose career in the ring was shepherded by his loyal half-brother, Dicky (Christian Bale) — a hard-living boxer-turned-trainer whose own career in the ring was nearly sent down for the count due to drugs and crime

Perennial underdog Irish Micky rebounded from a disheartening series of defeats to win both the WBU Intercontinental Lightweight title and the WBU Light Welterweight title thanks to a fierce combination of determination and hard work.

Hop Teaser Trailer

To say that 2010 has been a good year for animation would be a little bit of an understatement and it looks set to continue with Hop.

Yes we can finally take a sneak peak at a teaser trailer for the new movie from the guys behind Despicable Me.

There’s an all star cast of James Marsden, russell Brand, Hank Azaria and David Hasselhof and the film is directed by Tim Hill.

Blending state-of-the-art animation with live action, Hop tells the comic tale of Fred (James Marsden), an out-of-work slacker who accidentally injures the Easter Bunny (voiced by Russell Brand) and must take him in as he recovers.

As Fred struggles with the world’s worst houseguest, both will learn what it takes to finally grow up.

The Tourist Clips

I know I am a little biased, because I am a big fan, but any Johnny Depp movie is well worth a watch and he is back on the big screen in December with his new movie The Tourist.

The film, which is directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck sees Depp team up with Angelina Jolie as well as Paul Bettany and Timothy Dalton on the cast list.

The Tourist” revolves around Frank (Depp), an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Elise (Jolie) is an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path.

Against the breathtaking backdrop of Venice, Frank pursues a potential romance but soon finds himself the pursued as he and Elise are caught in a whirlwind of intrigue and danger.

Written and directed by Florian Henckel von Donnersmarck (The Lives of Others) the legendary Julian Fellowes (The Young Victoria, Gosford Park), Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspects, Valkyrie) and based on the film ‘Anthony Zimmer’ written by Jérôme Salle

The Tourist is released 10th December. Take a look at some new clips from the film:

Mars Needs Mom Trailer

Take out the trash, eat your broccoli – who needs moms, anyway? Nine-year-old Milo (Seth Green) finds out just how much he needs his mom (Joan Cusack) when she’s nabbed by Martians who plan to steal her mom-ness for their own young.

Produced by the team behind “Disney’s A Christmas Carol” and “The Polar Express,” “Mars Needs Moms” showcases Milo’s quest to save his mom, a wild adventure in Disney Digital 3D and IMAX® 3D

Milo becomes a stow away on a spaceship, navigating an elaborate, multi-level planet and taking on the alien nation and their leader (Mindy Sterling).

With the help of a tech-savvy, underground earthman named Gribble (Dan Fogler) and a rebel Martian girl called Ki (Elisabeth Harnois), Milo just might find his way back to his mom – in more ways than one.

Oh Lordy, JLS & Alex Burke Launch Fashion Line

Alexandra Burke is piggybacking off her mates in JLS’ fame after blagging them into letting her team up with them for a new fashion line.

The Beat Again hitmakers were runners-up to Burke on U.K. TV show The X Factor in 2008, but they’ve put their former rivalry behind them to join forces to design pieces for their 2KX fashion range, which will hit British stores in the spring.

To mark their stylish collaboration, they’ve designed a limited edition t-shirt for the Help a London Child Christmas Appeal. JLS singer Oritse Williams says, “We wanted to keep on giving something back to the kids in London who need our help. We’re asking our fans to show us some love, buy the t-shirt and help us raise as much money as possible for this brilliant charity.”

Laura’s Baby Diary : Weeks 30-31

Things are going good here in expectant mum land, but with Christmas approaching rapidly, it’s getting difficult to steer away from the chocolate and mince pies! I am occupying my time doing lots of Christmas shopping whilst my husband is working away in the vain attempt to still feel festive, but without the expanding (non-pregnancy) waistline.

A few things have happened in my personal life this week, and I must admit, it has been hard to focus on keeping the stress levels down and concentrating on looking after myself, but luckily my little girl is keeping me busy and always manages to make me smile when she kisses my bump.

On a happier note though, I graduated last week! Whoopie! It was two years of hard work but it was worth it in the end, and what a lovely day it was! Obviously, it was hard to find something that fitted, but it was nice to have a day out and see some good friends who had worked just as hard.

So, with only a few weeks left until baby arrives I have started to nest; I keep cleaning things that really don’t need cleaning, moving things around and generally can’t keep still for two minutes, when really I should have my feet up! I’ve got to admit, it is nice to keep busy, although I am still in bed by 8pm every night!

So if like me, you can’t keep still, give the list of jobs to a willing volunteer and get resting, it is Christmas after all…

SCREAM! It’s The First US X Factor Teaser

The US version of The X Factor might not be kicking off until the back end of 2011 (yes, a whole year away) but we’re still super excited to have feasted our eyes upon their first trailer.

Okay, so the actual trailer gives, well, nothing at all away aobut the coming show, but it’s still getting me all excited that I might need to go and make a cup of Earl Grey.

Ruth’s Frisky Friday

Cheryl Cole’s new single might be called the same as Take That’s new single, but we’re not going to hold it against her, after all, she’s probably a big fan of them too. Here’s the video anyway…

I’m A Celebrity has spent far too much time revolving around that annoying Gillian McKeith lately, so much so that I think ITV need to break the annoyance a bit… Enter Scott Mills

The Reason have once again sent us a very lovely video of them discussing what they think about the X Factor so far. I think I fancy them a bit.
