The Help Images
You would be hard pushed to keep Emma Stone off the big screen at the moment as she has yet another new movie on the horizon – The Help.
Set in Mississippi during the 1960s, “The Help” stars Emma Stone (“Zombieland”) as Skeeter, a southern society girl who returns from college determined to become a writer, but turns her friends’ lives, and a small Mississippi town, upside down when she decides to interview the black women who have spent their lives taking care of prominent southern families.
Academy Award® nominee Viola Davis (“Eat Pray Love”) stars as Aibileen, Skeeter’s best friend’s housekeeper, who is the first to open up—to the dismay of her friends in the tight-knit black community.
Despite Skeeter’s life-long friendships hanging in the balance, she and Aibileen continue their collaboration and soon more women come forward to tell their stories—and as it turns out, they have a lot to say.
Along the way, unlikely friendships are forged and a new sisterhood emerges, but not before everyone in town has a thing or two to say themselves when they become unwittingly—and unwillingly—caught up in the changing times.

Gulliver’s Travels Trailer
We haven’t seen Jack Black on the big screen for a while but he is back as Gulliver in the famous story of Gulliver’s Travels.
Directed by Rob Letterman, his first film since Monsters vs Aliens, the movie brings together an impressive cast of Black, Emily Blunt, Jason Segel, Amanda Peet, Billy Connelly and Catherine Tate.
Gulliver is a perpetual underachiever and wannabe travel writer at a New York newspaper.
When he finally makes an effort to actually venture out the city to write a travel piece, a storm-tossed voyage lands him on an island inhabited by tiny folks called Lilliputians.
After a rocky beginning, the gargantuan Gulliver becomes an inspiration to his new six-inch-tall friends.
He brings them modern-day wonders like a PDA and music video game – while they help him kick it old-school during his travels through this unforgettable world.

Ruth’s Wednesday Whirl

Justin Bieber fans, get ready to tear up all your posters and start crushing on Greyson Chance, because it looks as though the teeny bopper is dating actress Demi Lovato!
Despite being celebrity BFF’s last month, I was shocked to hear that Rihanna missed Katy Perry’s wedding to Russell Brand. Not half as shocked as to hear that she didn’t bother turning up in case there was no phone reception in India.
To be honest, I don’t think it would take a lot to make X Factor rejects Belle Amie cry, they were always sobbing their little Topshop hearts out, but apparently just watching Cher Lloyd singing on Saturday set the girls off.
Lily Allen has broken her silence regarding her recent miscarriage by asking her fans to “say a little prayer†for her unborn son via twitter.
