Laura’s Baby Diary : Weeks 30-31

Things are going good here in expectant mum land, but with Christmas approaching rapidly, it’s getting difficult to steer away from the chocolate and mince pies! I am occupying my time doing lots of Christmas shopping whilst my husband is working away in the vain attempt to still feel festive, but without the expanding (non-pregnancy) waistline.

A few things have happened in my personal life this week, and I must admit, it has been hard to focus on keeping the stress levels down and concentrating on looking after myself, but luckily my little girl is keeping me busy and always manages to make me smile when she kisses my bump.

On a happier note though, I graduated last week! Whoopie! It was two years of hard work but it was worth it in the end, and what a lovely day it was! Obviously, it was hard to find something that fitted, but it was nice to have a day out and see some good friends who had worked just as hard.

So, with only a few weeks left until baby arrives I have started to nest; I keep cleaning things that really don’t need cleaning, moving things around and generally can’t keep still for two minutes, when really I should have my feet up! I’ve got to admit, it is nice to keep busy, although I am still in bed by 8pm every night!

So if like me, you can’t keep still, give the list of jobs to a willing volunteer and get resting, it is Christmas after all…

SCREAM! It’s The First US X Factor Teaser

The US version of The X Factor might not be kicking off until the back end of 2011 (yes, a whole year away) but we’re still super excited to have feasted our eyes upon their first trailer.

Okay, so the actual trailer gives, well, nothing at all away aobut the coming show, but it’s still getting me all excited that I might need to go and make a cup of Earl Grey.

Are YOU going to be watching?

Ruth’s Frisky Friday

Cheryl Cole’s new single might be called the same as Take That’s new single, but we’re not going to hold it against her, after all, she’s probably a big fan of them too. Here’s the video anyway…

I’m A Celebrity has spent far too much time revolving around that annoying Gillian McKeith lately, so much so that I think ITV need to break the annoyance a bit… Enter Scott Mills

The Reason have once again sent us a very lovely video of them discussing what they think about the X Factor so far. I think I fancy them a bit.
