Quite why Channel 4 reckon Dappy from that band N Dubz is famous enough to deliver their now traditional alternative to the Queen’s speech is beyond me.
If they’d picked someone like, hmm, I dunno, Gillian McKeith to go up against Her Majesty, fair enough, but the one who wears that stupid hat in N Dubz? Really?
Dappy seems pretty thrilled about it though (obviously) and said: “We thought it would be cool to do a special Christmas message to rival the Queen’s speech but I’ll be giving a very different take on things to Her Majesty. I’m going to be talking about things that matter to young people today, keeping it real and relevant.”
I think I’d rather watch the Queen.
