Despite some rather critical reviews of Revenge of the Fallen the Transformers franchise has been very successful at the box office over recent years.
And Michael Bay is back in the director’s chair and Shia LaBeouf is set to return as Sam in Transformer: Dark Side of the Moon.
The Autobots learn of a Cybertronian spacecraft hidden on the Moon, and race against the Decepticons to reach it and learn its secrets, which could turn the tide in the Transformers’ final battle.
Megan Fox may be gone but Rosie Huntington-Whiteley along with other new faces – John Malkovich, Patrick Dempsey and Frances McDormand.
But Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson and John Turturro are all back – as is Hugo Weaving as the voice of Megatron.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon is set for a 1st July release.
