First Larry Crown Images

It’s been a while since we have seen Tom Hanks on the big screen – not since Angels and Demons if you really want to know – but this year he is back with his new movie Larry Crowne.

The film sees him reunite with his Charlie Wilson’s War co-star Julia Roberts as he takes on the role of the title character.

When appealing everyman Larry Crowne (Hanks) is inexplicably fired from his job as a big box store clerk, he realizes it’s time for some meaningful change in his life.

Deeply in debt and without direction, he returns to college where he befriends a group of scooter-riding students and eventually develops a real affection for his beautiful speech class instructor, Mercedes Tainot (Roberts).

Charming and smart, “Larry Crowne” reminds us of life’s small surprises. Sometimes clouds really do have a silver lining.

It’s also about the power of new beginnings like the time Larry Crowne, an ordinary man with a gentle heart, was forced to downsize his world… and ended up expanding his life.

Larry Crowne is released 1st July. Take a look at the images for the movie:

Second Friends With Benefits Trailer

Mila Kunis turned in an awesome performance in drama Black Swan but now she turns her hand to comedy as she teams up with Justin Timberlake in Friends With Benefits.

A young female headhunter (Kunis) in New York convinces a potential recruit (Timberlake) to leave his job in San Francisco behind and accept a job in the big apple.

Despite an attraction to each other, both realize they’re everything they’ve been running from in a relationship and decide to become friends… with benefits.

It’s the perfect arrangement – until they realize there’s no such thing as no strings attached.

Friends With Benefits is released 2nd Spetember. Take a look at the second trailer for the movie:

New Thor Images

As the release date for Thor creeps ever closer I have to admit that I really am looking forward to it – lets hope it does live to to all of the pre-release excitement. This movie looks set to send Chris Hemsworth’s career sky high – plus it’s good to see Natalie Portman return to something a little more mainstream.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh the movie boasts an all star cast of Hemsworth, Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idis Elba and Renee Russo.

At the center of the story is the mighty Thor (Chris Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions reignite an ancient war. Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans.

A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Natalie Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love.

It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

Thor is released 27th April. Take a look at the new images for the movie:
