First Superman Image

Comic book movies really are the big box office draw at the moment and one that many, including myself, is really looking forward to is Superman: Man of Steel.

The movie is set to hit the big screen in 2013, yes I know that’s a bit of a wait, with Brit actor Henry Cavill taking over the role of Clark Kent.

The actor is set to lead an all star cast that includes Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Kevin Costern and Laurence Fishburne.

Zack Snyder is in the director’s chair this time around with Batman filmmaker Christopher Nolan on executive producing duties.

Take a look at the first pic of Cavill in the suit:

Knuckle Clips

Two men are driven to a quiet country lane close to Dundalk near the Irish border. Cars are used to block off access to the lane, less than ten other people are present.

They watch silently, as the two men walk to a clear area, strip to the waist and prepare for a bare-knuckle fistfight.

The rules are no biting, head-butting or below the belt punches. There are no rounds or breaks and the fight goes on until one man gives up or is knocked out.

James Quinn McDonagh and Paddy ‘The Lurcher’ Joyce are there to represent their feuding Traveller clans.

Although the Quinn McDonaghs and the Joyces are cousins, they are bitter enemies and have clashed for generations. The two families are at the heart of one of the longest and most violent bare-knuckle boxing feuds in Ireland and England.

Knuckle takes us into this secretive Traveller world – a world of long and bitter memories and a history of violent clashes between rival clans, which has sometimes resulted in death.

Knuckle is out in cinemas today. Take a look at some clips from the movie:

Taylor Lautner may be back as Jacob Black at the end of the year but this September sees him leave the Twilight franchise beind for his new movie Abduction.

Directed by John Singleton the movie sees the ever popular Lautner lead an all star cast that includes Lily Collins, Alfred Molina, Jason Isaacs and Maria Bello.

What would you do if you found your own picture on a missing persons website?

Teen Nathan Harper (Taylor Lautner) finds himself facing this very dilemma.

Setting out to uncover his real identity, Nathan quickly learns his parents are far from who they say they are.

When the police, government agents and shadowy figures start to pursue him, Nathan’s quest for the truth erupts into a full-blown ‘Bourne’-like man-on-the-run thriller.

Abduction is released 28th September. Here is the UK poster for the movie:
