It seems that there is no rest for Jason Statham having already starred in The Mechanic, Blitz and lent his voice to Gnomeo & Juliet this year he is now set to star in Safe.
Released later this the movie sees Statham lead a cast that includes Chris Sarandon, James Hong and Robert John Burke.
In the movie from writer-director Boaz Yakin, Statham portrays a former elite operative who must protect an adolescent girl (played by Catherine Chan) from the bad guys.
We are also going to be seeing Statham in Killer Elite this year, which teams him up with Robert De Niro.
