Best Movie Posters: Pulp Fiction

Pulp Fiction (1994)

Quentin Tarantino enjoyed a career before and after Pulp Fiction but the 1994 movie remains a personal favourite – hard to believe the movie is almost twenty years old!

Design house Indika were behind the eye catching poster and the famous pose from actress Uma Thurman – who puts in a great turn in the movie.

The poster was designed to look an old pulp paperback and it still has a huge impact today – no other poster has ever pulled off this look as successfully!

New Dream House Trailer

Now I have been a big fan of Rachel Weisz for many years and she will be back later this year with her new movie Dream House – which sees her star alongside Daniel Craig.

Dream House is a suspense thriller about a family that unknowingly moves into a home where grisly murders were committed… only to uncover even darker mysteries within its walls.

Successful publisher Will Atenton (Craig) quit a high-power job in Manhattan to relocate his wife, Libby (Weisz), and two girls to a quaint New England town.

But as they settle into their new life, they discover their perfect home was the murder scene of a mother and her children.

And the entire city believes it was at the hands of the husband who survived. When Will investigates, he’s not sure if he’s starting to see ghosts or if the tragic story is just hitting too close to home.

His only clues come from Ann Patterson (Watts), a mysterious neighbour who knew those who were lost. And as Will and Ann piece together the haunting puzzle, they must find out who murdered the family in Will’s dream house before he returns to kill again.

Dream House is released 25th November.

Ides of March Images

Ryan Gosling has already had a busy year with Blue Valentine, Drive and Crazy Stupid Love but he has another movie in the pipeline and that is Ides of March.

Not only does the movie mark Gosling’s return to the big screen for the fourth time this year but it also sees George Clooney back in the director’s chair.

It’s his first directorial outing since Leatherheads as he also stars in the movie as well as penning the script.

An idealistic staffer for a newbie presidential candidate gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail. Based on the play by Beau Willimon.

Evan Rachel Wood, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti are on a cast list of a movie that could well have some Oscar potential.

Ides of March is released 28th October. Take a look at some pics from the movie:
