The Silence Of The Lambs (1991)
The Silence of the Lambs is a movie and a role that Anthony Hopkins with forever be associated with as he took on the part of Hannibal Lector.
Directed by Jonathan Demme the movie took the five big Oscars in 1991 as it scooped Best Picture, Best Actor for Hopkins, Best Actress for Jodie Foster, Best Director and Best Adapted Screenplay.
A picture of Hopkins as Lector for the poster would have been the logical choice here but instead they have chosen to go down a different path.
Cleverly the chills of Hopkins’ performance are saved for the film without giving anything away. And while Lector is nowhere to be seen this is still a creepy poster.
And this movie is just as much about Clarice and Lector and this poster really does give off that vibe.
