New Warrior Clips

I know that I have been harping on about Warrior for the last few weeks but it is a movie that I am super excited to see – and it reaches our screens this week.

Tom Hardy is back, just a week after Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; where he sported a very interesting haircut, as he stars alongside Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte.

Warrior has already been met well by critics and audiences in America and now it is time to see what all the fuss is about.

An ex-Marine haunted by a tragic past, Tommy Riordan returns to his hometown of Pittsburgh and enlists his father, a recovered alcoholic and his former coach, to train him for an MMA tournament awarding the biggest purse in the history of the sport.

As Tommy blazes a violent path towards the title prize, his brother, Brendan, a former MMA fighter unable to make ends meet as a public school teacher, returns to the amateur ring to provide for his family.

Even though years have passed, recriminations and past betrayals keep Brendan bitterly estranged from both Tommy and his father.

But when Brendan’s unlikely rise as an underdog sets him on a collision course with Tommy, the two brothers must finally confront the forces that tore them apart, all the while waging the most intense, winner-takes-all battle of their lives.

Warrior is released 21st September.

Tom Hardy is the best hunk/actor today. I fell in love with his Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights, and have been impressed ever since. He has the early look of a young Marlon Brando, but with tenderness. He can capture an emotion from intense to delicate in a split second. He can act rings around anyone else in Hollywood and deserves all the best in the new year. He will only get better with time, and the right movies.
