Angelina Jolie’s wedding dresses

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt will soon be tying the knot and designers are itching to be the one to dress her.

And why not, look what Kate Middleton done for Sarah Burton at Alexander McQueen.

Badgely Mischka, Monique Lhuillier and Reem Acra all submitted their designs to People Magazine, of what they would dress the actress in on her big day, if they were to get the esteemed task.

“[Something] like this [pictured above, left] would be perfect for Angelina,” Mark Badgley and James Mischka told the magazine. “It’s beaded bodice would give her just the right amount of sparkle, and the fitted tulle skirt with godets makes it elegant and totally glamorous.”

Monique Lhuiller has a different idea though, she explains:

“Angie has style. She takes a classic look and adds a sultry, sexy edge and makes it her own.”

But if the actress were to chose the Lebanese designer, Reem Acra for her big day she’d have a dress that’s more slinky. (Above, right)

So, which out of these three should she opt for?

The only answer we really want answering by the bride-to-be though is, where is our invitation and will ‘the leg’ be making an appearance?

Stupid Mums

So I was scrolling on the Daily Mail website today and the first story to grab my eye was that an American woman has been arrested after her 5-year-old daughter got burnt when using the sunbeds. What the hell.

Forty four-year-old Patricia Krentcil, who looks about 70 because she’s clearly been bashing the sunbeds a little too much, claims she hasn’t done anything wrong and is a ‘wonderful mother’.

Am I the only one who thinks this woman is crazy? Who lets their 5-year-old use sunbeds? Has she even thought about how she is increasing her daughter’s chance of skin cancer, and who says that you have to be tanned anyway, being pale is just as beautiful.

Another ridiculous story that I saw today was that nearly half of 2,000 British women that were asked would consider getting pregnant to take a year off work. Are they mad?

Now I’m not a parent myself but I’d imagine that most jobs are a walk in the park compared to raising a child.

It’s completely selfish, and stupid. If you hate your job so much then quit and find a new job BEFORE you have children so that you can at least support them properly.

Surely these women realise that they will have to go back to work eventually, and the chance is if they hated it 12 months ago, they’re going to hate it even more with the added stress of a child at home.

Piggy Clip

If you head to the cinema this weekend to catch a movie them make sure that it is violent Brit thriller Piggy.

The movie is the directorial debut of Kieron Hawkes but it really is a great watch as Martin Compston and Paul Anderson team up to deliver some rather eye watering vigilante justice.

And we have a new clip from the movie for you to take a look at before the movie is released into cinemas tomorrow:

Joe (Martin Compston) is a mild mannered young man bored by his humdrum London life. When his beloved brother (Neil Maskell) is murdered, Joe finds solace in Piggy, one of his brother’s old friends.

Piggy helps Joe to cope with grief, intent on saving him and helping him get justice for his brother’s killing. As their friendship grows Joe finds himself in an increasing dangerous and murky world of violence and revenge.

As Joe life collapses around him he starts to question who Piggy really is, and how honest he’s really been with him. When Joe confronts Piggy a series of events are put in place that lead to a disastrous climax.

Piggy is released 4th May.

Men In Black III Clips

The Men In Black are back this summer as Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones return to the roles of J & K for the first time in a decade.

And the first clips for the movie have finally been released and once again Smith & Jones, as well as Josh Brolin, are kicking some alien ass:

Agent J travels in time to MIB’s early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history.

Josh Brolin is on hand to play a younger version of K, I swear Brolin sound likes Jones when he speaks.

Barry Sonnenfeld is back in the director’s chair for the movie while Emma Thompson, Alice Eve, Jemaine Clement and Bill Hader are all also on the cast list.

Men In Black III is released 25th May
