It appears that Dannii Minogue has turned down the offer to return as one of the Judges on this year’s X Factor.

The rumour mill has been going into overdrive, some are saying that she wanted £5m for her return but Cowell is only offering her £1m and others are saying it’s so she can spend more time with her son Ethan.

Hello, has anyone considered that it might be because Simon Cowell admitted that they had an affair whilst working together?

I can’t imagine that she and Simon are the best of pals right now and you can only imagine the stories and quips that would fly around should they begin working together again. I can already hear the beginnings of bad jokes ringing in my ears.

Whatever her reason for turning the job down, I’m quite disheartened that she won’t be returning, I quite liked Dannii and her ever-changing hair.

She was a good mentor and wasn’t too in your face (like a certain Kelly Rowland) so I genuinely hope she reconsiders. The tension between her and Simon would make pretty good TV too.
