To reiterate the title, welcome one and all to our new TV blog.
I’ll be posting my thoughts and whims up on here every day (unless taken ill by the plague) so check back in to see what I’m thinking about the latest stuff in the world of TV.
To open up, I find it incredible that there have already been more than 40 complaints about the new ‘Go Compare’ advert. Could anyone tell me how Sue Barker using a comically over-sized, bright yellow rocket launcher is offensive?
The bigger thing to be puzzled about though is that the insurance company seem to be completley in on the joke as I’ve been seing their billboards on my commute with fake graffiti on (also, advertising their adverting is increadibly weird).
Does this mean that they’ve simply been ‘trolling’ the entire UK for more than a year now, perhaps with the express aim to be as annoying as humanly possible?
Now the meerkats and Alexander Armstrong look all the better.
