Now Is Good Trailer & Poster

Dakota Fanning and Jeremy Irvine have joined forces for touching new movie Now Is Good – which hits the big screen next month.

The movie is a big screen adaptation of the novel by Jenny Downham and the first film for director Ol Parker since Imagine Me & You in 1995.

We have the new trailer for the movie for you to take a look at ahead of the film’s release:

Tessa is seventeen and passionate about life. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, she determines to use every moment, compiling a catalogue of what a normal teenager would experience, including losing her virginity and taking drugs.

With the help of her friend Zoey, she sets the list in motion. While her family deals with fear and grief, each in their own way, Tessa explores a whole new world.

Falling in love with Adam, her new neighbour, wasn’t on the list, but it proves to be the most exhilarating experience of them all.

Now Is Good is released 19th September

The Watch Featurette

The Watch has hit the big screen this week and has marked the welcome return for funnyman Ben Stiller.

Stiller is joined on the cast list by Jonah Hill, Vince Vaughn and Richard Ayoade while Akiva Schaffer is in the director’s chair.

In this latest featurette the cast talk about what drew them to the project as well as how they find working with each other:

Four everyday suburban guys (played by Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn, Jonah Hill & Richard Ayoade) come together to form a neighbourhood watch group, but only as an excuse to escape their humdrum lives one night a week.

But when they accidentally discover that their town has become overrun with aliens posing as ordinary suburbanites, they have no choice but to save their neighbourhood — and the world — from total extermination.

The Watch is out now

50 Shades of Green

If 50 Shades Of Grey has got you ready for some fun in the bedroom, but your partner needs a helping hand to get in the mood, perhaps they could take a leaf, or more technically a flower, out of France’s book.

In Europe the artichoke has been seen as an aphrodisiac for centuries, where in the 16th Century only men were allowed to eat the unusually edible flower because of its reported libido enhancing qualities. The French Court evem considered Katherine De Medici, who married King Henry II, scandalous for eating such a large quantity of artichokes and she proclaimed in her defence

“If one of us had eaten artichokes, we would have been pointed out on the street. Today young women are more forward than pages at the court.”

It is certainly true that the artichoke is healthy, jam packed with important vitamins and minerals, and said to help with certain digestive problems, and so it should definitely make you feel good one way or another.

How to benefit from artichoke

In the UK it can be hard to find fresh artichokes, but there is now a unique artichoke tea available, which allows you to test out its purported aphrodisiac qualities for yourself in an easy and tasty way.

Avengers Assemble – Alternate Opening Scene

Now I don’t know about you but Avengers Assemble is still one of my favourite movies of 2012 and I am super excited for the DVD & Blu-Ray dropping next month.

And it seems that we are going to be treated to a shed load of extras with the release – and we have one for you to take a look at now.

We have already showed you the gag-reel and behind the scenes featurette and now we have an alternate opening scene for you to enjoy:

Robert Downey Jr is joined on the cast list by Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Scarlett Johansson, Tom Hiddleston and Samuel L. Jackson.

The movie went on to become the biggest grossing movie of the year when it was released earlier this year as it stormed through the $1 billion barrier.

Not content with just being the biggest film of 2012 Avengers Assemble went on to become the third biggest movie of all time.

Avengers Assemble is released on DVD & Blu-Ray 17th September.

Jaws Featurette

It was back in 1975 when Jaws was released for the very first time and it was a movie that was to kick-start the age of the blockbuster.

And next Monday we see the Steven Spielberg classic come to Blu-Ray and to celebrate we have a featurette about the music used in the movie:

When a gigantic great white shark begins to menace the small island community of Amity, a police chief, a marine scientist and grizzled fisherman set out to stop it.

Jaws remains as tension filled and terrifying today as it did almost forty years ago while Roy Scheider and Richard Dreyfuss are still remembered fondly for their roles.

Jaws is released on Blu-Ray 3rd September.

St George’s Day Clip

Frank Harper is about to make his big screen directorial debut with new movie St George’s Day – which hits the big screen next week.

Harper has also penned the script as well as being on the cast list alongside Charles Dance, Craig Fairbrass and Vincent Regan.

So we have a new clip from the movie – which introduces Keeley Hazell as Peckham Princess:

St George’s Day is a British crime thriller that follows the story of infamous gangster cousins Micky Mannock and Ray Collishaw.

Having long since graduated from the terraces they now run the top firm in London. But when they lose a drug shipment belonging to the Russian Mafia, a turf war threatens to tear their empire apart.

Their only hope is a potential heist in Berlin that’ll clear their debts and set them up for life. Pursued by the Russians and the police they travel undercover with a huge English super firm who are heading across to watch the 3 Lions play Germany on St George’s Day.

While the police are diverted by the England and German firms colliding head on in the mother of all battles, Micky and Ray have one shot at the heist that could save both themselves and everything they’ve ever fought for.

But they hadn’t counted on a grass at the heart of their firm whose sole intent is to bring them crashing down.

St George’s Day is released 7th September.

Hit And Run Featurette

Real life partners Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard have teamed up as lovers for new movie Hit And Run.

This is a very busy project for Shepard as he not only stars in the film but he has also written the screenplay and directs with David Palmer.

And we have a behind the scenes featurette from the movie for you to take a look at:

Shepard and Bell are joined on the cast list by Tom Arnold, Kristin Chenoweth and Bradley Cooper.

Hit And Run is the story of Charlie Bronson (Shepard), a nice guy with a questionable past who risks everything when he busts out of the witness protection program to deliver his fiancé (Kristen Bell) to Los Angeles to seize a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

Their road trip grows awkwardly complicated, when they are chased by the feds (led by Tom Arnold) – and increasingly dangerous, when Charlie’s former pals, a band of gangsters (led by Bradley Cooper), enter the fray.

Hit And Run is released 12th October.

Sinister Trailer

Sinister sees Ethan Hawke back on the big screen as he teams up with Scott Derrickson for new horror movie Sinister.

The movie looks set to be scarring audiences at FrightFest this week – where it will get its premiere.

And we have the trailer for the movie for you to take a look at:

As well as Derrickson in the director’s chair Jason Blum is producer – he has produced the likes of Paranormal Activity and Insidious.

Desperately in need of a best seller to revive his struggling career, true crime writer Ellison (Ethan Hawke), moves his family to the scene of his most recent story; the unsolved, gruesome murder of a loving, happy suburban family.

Shunned by the local community and strained by his obligations to his family, the discovery of a batch of home movies in the attic offers Ellison shocking proof to the crime he is investigating.

Ellison notices the same unidentified figure appearing in each of the 8mm films, leaving him convinced that all the incidents are linked by a truly bizarre connection.

As his investigations uncover the terrifying truth he starts to lose his grip on reality and it soon becomes clear that he is placing his own family in harm’s way.

Sinister is released 5th October

Killing Them Softly Poster

We haven’t seen Brad Pitt in a movie since the fab Moneyball but he is set to return next months in his new movie Killing Them Softly.

Pitt plays an enforcer in the Andrew Dominik directed movie and, I have to admit, the new poster has him looking pretty mean.

This is the second time that Pitt has worked with director Dominik – The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford being their first movie together.

And the cast list doesn’t just stop with Pitt as James Gandolfini, Richard Jenkins, Ray Liotta, Sam Shepard and Scoot McNairy are all set to star.

Jackie Cogan (Pitt) is a professional enforcer who investigates a heist that went down during a mob-protected poker game.

Killing Them Softly is released 21st September.

Red 2 Poster

Back in 2010 Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren and John Malkovich kicked the ass of just about everyone when Red hit the big screen.

And 2013 will see them return in a sequel that is directed by Dean Parisot.

Willis, Mirren and Malkovich are set to reprise the role of Frank Moses, Victoria and Marvin Boggs while Mary Louise Parker is also back.

But there are some new faces on the cast list including Anthony Hopkins and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

Take a look at the first poster for the movie:

Red 2 is released 2nd August.
