Whilst we may not have the budget for the Dior outfit, we can certainly re-create her hairstyle.
“Emma has captured the hair of the moment perfectly with this delicate style that looks beautifully effortless. Her hair is well prepped to ensure shine and then pulled-back, leaving a few imperfections to soften the style and add a sexy 2014 edge,” says ghd creative director and session stylist, Kenna.
Using the power of the ghd eclipse®, follow Kenna’s simple steps below to help you recreate the actress’s classic look.
Get the look:
Dampen the hair and spray with ghd style heat protect spray to give structure. Follow with a couple of pumps of ghd style total volume foam for some subtle volume.
Using the ghd air and a ghd natural bristle radial brush smoothly blow dry your hair controlling and smoothing with the nozzle attached, add a light touch of ghd style smooth & finish serum to the ends.
Smooth your hair using ghd eclipse locking in extra shine to your hair and create a slight curve in the mid lengths to help the style take form.
Use a ghd tail comb to create a deep side parting. Let the wider section of hair drop slightly on the forehead, whilst pulling the thinner section of hair straight back to add severity and sophistication.
To finish the look, secure the hair at the back with pins to create the bun. Top tip: pull a few wispy strands of hair out to frame the face.
Ensure the look stays in place by lightly spraying over ghd style final fix hairspray over the hair to set the look.
