Fashion pick of the day: Mango Drape One Shoulder Silk Dress

We’re still thinking about dresses that we can wear to a summer wedding and this Mango one is definitely high on the list.

Ain’t she a beauty?

The colour is divine for summer, it particularly works well with a tan.

Simple nude heels will let the dress do all of the talking, but add some coloured ones if you want to liven the look up.

Just think of how this will move when you’re on the dancefloor.

On Wednesdays we wear pink… jeans

Inspired by the pink bits that are in my own jeans today, I thought I’d pick out some style pink jeans that you can all shop and wear today or next Wednesday.

Because on Wednesdays, we wear pink.

Add a bright top for a bold, colour block look. Or pair them with something a little more muted.

Match your nails to your jeans like I have done for matchy-matchy style.

Fashion pick of the day: Miss Selfridge cotton peplum cami

Where’s the proper summer? Techinally we’re deep into Spring, but it hardly looks like it when you pop your head out of the window or door.

So, the only way we can get some Spring in our lives is by injecting it into our wardrobe.

This cotton peplum cami top from Miss Selfridge is the ideal way to do this.

Light and soft, it will keep you cool in the warmer weather. The light embroidery adds a feminine touch to the top and the white colour will be perfect to show off any tan. Fake or real.

Wear this top to festivals, on holiday or in the park when the sun makes most likely a quick trip out.

Fashion pick of the day: Kardashian Kollection blush blouse

The latest Kardashian Kollection has arrived here in the UK and we got really excited for the summer pieces.

Beautiful ombre details, lots of monochrome and a cute metallic short suit that we can’t get enough of.

But it’s this blush-coloured blouse that we’re really lusting over.

This will last all summer, wearing it with jeans, trousers, shorts and skirts. Perfect for work or play.

The waterfall detail is simply beautiful and the blush colour will compliment all skin tones.

Mani Monday

Pastel shades are still my favourite for the Spring season, when it rolls round to summer – hopefully – that’s when I favour the brighter shades.

This week’s simple nails were created with two varnishes, one from the Lasting Gel range from Collection. I used the nude shade last week. This time I chose the peachy colour.

Mani monday butter london

Again these varnishes slide on and the colour lasts really well. I used this on my index finger alone.

Then, on the rest I used a beautiful Butter London sage green shade, with gold speckles.

This varnish is a real beauty. Definitely a nail varnish brand I’ll be going back to.

Buy the varnishes I used now.

Fashion pick of the day: Accessorize satchel

This neutral satchel is a simple addition that we all need in our Spring/Summer wardrobe.

Accessorize have done it again with their beautiful and lustworthy accessories.

The cut-out detail makes it that little more interesting and the soft beige colour means you can wear it with almost everything.

This bag is ideal for work or play.

And we all know that a satchel will never date.

Channel Alexa Chung and pair it with some sailor stripes.

Fashion pick of the day: River Island sweat top

Anybody else still consider Sunday a lazy day? And if you’re going to go out and get dressed, you’re going to be as comfortable as possible. Enter this River Island sweat top.

This is not only super comfortable, but very on trend too. The perfect combination for a Sunday afternoon, if you ask me.

Wear with a pair of jeans and Converse, or if you do want to go a little more dressy add a pair of cropped boyfriend jeans and a pair of heeled barely there sandals – don’t forget the box clutch for an extra luxe touch look.

I never wanted to get dressed more on a Sunday

Fashion pick of the day: Topshop bright fluro shirt

I’m looking out the window as I type and I’m wondering where on Earth the sun is. We need some sunshine in our lives and this Topshop bright fluro shirt looks like the only answer.

We’re nearly in June. I think we deserve at least clear skies.

I’d channel Miranda Kerr in this shirt and wear it tucked into a pair of dark skinny jeans, wear my hair sleek, a must-have designer handbag (in my dreams), in reality it would be one of my favourites from Zara, a pair of ballet pumps and of course a pair of sunglasses – Miranda’s favourite Miu Miu glitter ones. Again, in reality this would be a high street version, there are plenty of them.

This shirt would look amazing with a pair of brightly coloured embellished shorts as well, perfect for a night out during the summer.

Ah summer… Will you please show your face.
