Anton du Beke has been put under guard for tonights Strictly Come Dancing. The attack on Leona Lewis has put the BBC on guard – the 43-year-old sparked fury when he said show partner Laila Rouass “looked like a P*ki” after a spray tan earlier this month and the BBC are concerned it may all kick off.. well beeb thats sure to boost rating as audiences tune in to watch for a possible punch up.

Cheryl Cole todays Mother Theresa, Prince Williams main challenger to replace the Queen as head of the monarchy, but did she reveal a dark side on Saturday?
Que X-Factor my three, without much ado, Cheryl immediately tells Rikki Loney he is through to the finals. Great, but very emotional that young fella, isn’t he?
Next is between Ethan Boroian and Lloyd Daniels. Cheryl talks with Lloyd about his age being a factor (he’s only 15), but in the end, Ethan gets rejected and Lloyd is through to the live finals, a bittersweet result for the lady viewers, I think?
Following these two is operatic Daniel Fox, who’s concerned that Cheryl doesn’t ‘get’ his singing style. Her brow is noticably furrowed, but she stammers something at a producer and wanders off, then in the end, she rejects him. There is poor Daniel all white faced wondering what is going on then cruelly, they send him off while Cheryl composes herself, That was possibly the most painful rejection in reality TV history.
Now lets be honest she only had to tell the finalists who is through and who isn’t why did she put him through the humiliation. She knew she was going to play safe and forget talent and put vote catchers only though.

ets talk Mariah Carey, first up she says how shocked she was to survive to her 40th birthday as she expected to do a Marilyn Monroe, I just think she was scared of growing old. As she gets older her forehead is either getting larger or her hairline is receding or is it just me….
Then she pops up with the admission that she and hubby have lots of phone sex, Nick said: “There’s lots of phone sex! Here is a bit of a shock for an entertainmant writer I’m going to talk politcs..though politics is often little more than a comedy with but serious side effects anyway.
Its all over the news that Obama/The White House has snubbed Brown/ The U.K.
Gordon Brown was said to be desperate to meet with President Obama, but after being brushed aside managed (a wide-ranging chat after a UN dinner) without the spin a trot through the kitchens of a New York hotel to have a walk and talk.
Brown put in his place then, The out cries of what about the special relationship Obama has dumped it.
Why the snub because despite denials a snub it is.
Is it that as a self serving polotician Obama is looking to the Pacific Rim (which includes Japan and China, Australia, Canada, Mexico and Chile) these are more important to U.S.- which, in case someone hasn’t noticed, is itself a Pacific country.
Or maybe it’s because there is a geopolitical repositioning away from the west and the oil dollar towards the east as the new financial powerhouse, one point the US should take on board in this changing scenario America is also on the losing side, they just don’t realise it yet.with counties like Chile out performing its northern nieghbour
Could it be that Obama views Brown as Prime Minister with a limited time left in power and does not want to waste any time on discussions.Or maybe President Obama is starting to believe his own doubters who are starting to label him as a one term President and when looking at Gordon Brown sees a reflection of a man losing power.
But it is probablely nothing more than Gordon Brown wanting a photo opportunity with a President who has what he sees as more relevant issues to discuss with other people. All this is pure conjecture after all none of us are privvy to the thoughts of either man, but it keeps us amused.

Who needs enemies when you have those sort of friends.

So it official – well if you believe the red tops Heidi Range plotted to get rid of Buchanan no surprise they have always at best only tolerated each other, Amelle Berrabah is back and Jade Ewan, (Keisha Buchanan’s good friend) has become the third member of the Sugababes. Lets see how well they perform now they have none of the founding line-up in the girl band, I personally give them less than twelve months .

The rapper has come under savage criticism after he took to the stage and snatched the microphone from country singer Swift as she collected her first ever MTV VMA award on Sunday (13Sep09).
After hailing Beyonce as the true winner of the Best Female Video Award, fans and famous revelers alike booed him from the stage ,before the organisers told West to leave the ceremony.
The most interesting opinion is that of singer Pink who apparently wanted an on stage confrontation with the arrogant pompous rapper adding he wouldn’t have done that if she had been on stage….. that is a certainty he would have been picking himself up off the floor if he had been foolish enough to try.
Anyway Mr Arrogant says he needs to improve his attitude no argument there.
Whitney Houston (The all New Fully Fixed Version) is back pulling the sob stories looking for sympathy, still blaming everyone except herself well we wish her well she has a talent that should be aired
Patrick Swayze talented and loved actor sadly lost his fight with pancreatic cancer on Monday R.I.P. you will be much missed

Sugababe Keisha Buchanan reacted furiously yesterday to reports of a new fall-out in the group slamming back “I’m no bully.”
following accusations that she is at the centre of jealous attack on band mate Amelle Berrabah and her disappearance.
She expects us to believe that she is not at fault, but wasn’t she at the centre of rows when Heidi Range joined, and was it not her envy that drove Mutya Beuna to go solo, and not to forget that the earlier infighting with Siobhán Donaghy until she left.
Is it me or is Victoria Beckam getting even thinner, it appears to me that she is trying to emulate the Tim Burtons Victoria from the animated movie Corpse Bride.

French Football Clubs, Andy Murray, September 10, 2009
Posted by matt in : Matt Shine's, Sport , add a commentThe tapping up of young players row rumbles on, Manchester United have been accused by French club Le Havre of offering the parents of 16-year-old Pogba £170,000 in cash and a house to move to Old Trafford and now a complaint from Italian side Fiorentina about losing 16-year-old Italian defender Michele Fornasier to Old Trafford.
United’s legal team and now manager Sir Alex Ferguson have all come out stating that they behaved correctly with young players and their parents Sir Alex stating there has never been a case, ever, that we have paid parents.
So who is right and who is wrong perhaps football should look at its own rule book after all Sir Alex has had recent cause to feel aggrieved following the lose of his star player to Real Madrid and their dubious methods of buying players.
But then again can the French take the moral high ground have they not trawled Africa for years to sign up the best talent from Senegal, Ghana, the Ivory Coast, Congo and Cameroon? Are we sure the clubs did not turn the heads of young players to get them to move to France, or take up French citizenship, via the medium of cold, hard cash?
French can claim the title when it comes to blending players born outside France into their national team.
But the reality is young, French-speaking African footballers given the chance to move to a French club is a dream come true. Their wages will transform their lives and those of their families,
Surely the same surely applies to a young, French player given the chance to move to England – the standard of football is better and so is the money.
It is purely small fish – bigger fish – big fish, why did Kaka, Ronaldo, and Benzema head to Spain and Real Madrid this summer, quite simply money cold hard cash.
South American clubs, Italian clubs, French Clubs English clubs may all moan but until FIFA puts out a rule change then its going to be part of the beautiful game, Then again who says its wrong after all survival of the fittest… isn’t that the ethos of sport.
Talking about fittest Andy Murray slid out of the U.S. Open with a whimper once again hundreds of excuses and quotes like I will come back stronger…. No basically he is just not good enough.
