Okay, so they’ve only been together about six months but we are certain *ahem* that Alex isn’t planning to propose in the hope of piggybacking on the model’s fame… I mean come on, he’s got a successful cage fighting career hasn’t he? And even if that doesn’t work out, I’m sure Funnygirls would give him a job. *snigger*

Anyway, as Katie was busy getting ready to do a runner form the jungle, her other half Alex, 34, was spotted shopping for an engagement ring yesterday before heading into the bush to meet his girl.

Alex is rumoured to have planned to propose as soon as Jordan left the camp – and has even said he might do it on TV – obviously that isn’t another bid to boost his career… he just wants to share his love for Katie with the nation.

What do you think of all this and can you BELIEVE Katie scarpered from the jungle?

Now, what is totally baffling me is, Katie went in there to prove a point, and she was getting a shed load more money than everyone else, so why – on the last Bush Tucker Trial – did she spit her dummy out and storm off the show? I mean that relaly isn’t going to do her profile any favours.

As Ant & Dec delivered the news that the public has once again given a gruesome task to the mouthy model, she immediately told her camp mates she would refuse to take part, before breaking down to the show’s producers saying; “There’s only so much crap one person can take. The way I’ve been treated on the show by the viewers, you’d think I was the most hated woman in Britain.” Err, sorry to break it to you Katie, but you quite possibly are.

In her defence though, I had started to warm to her because as much as she protested over doing every trial, she didn’t half get stuck in once she began, and good on her, she was earning that money! I hope she doesn’t get a penny of it now though, she should have stuck it to the end, she would have earned my respect if no one else’s .

We all know she’s got a reputation for being an uber-diva, but the utterly ridiculous demands that she made at the celebration party for her new album Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel at London nightclub Jalouse, kinda makes me think ‘get your bags packed and get back to America.’

So, not only did she have a white car with pictures of herself on the side, two specially designed phantoms who escorted her from the car to the venue (wrapped in her new Angel Champagne branding) Champagne, yes, she’s now flogging the most expensive bubbly in the world now.

On top of that was her entourage – two stylists, her own personal photographer, a personal DJ, a personal candle lighter (to ensure none of her scented candles went out during the night, naturally), hoards of bouncers and of course about 20 other people who were just there.

But that’s not all, there’s even more… the venue was adorned with white roses, white and silver Hummingbird cup cakes and gold and black balloons, whilst an entire area was redressed in thick white fur, including a cashmere white carpet for her party heels to walk on. Oh please.

Oh, and if you needed a drink there were semi-naked male Angels covered in gold paint and wearing angels wings serving HER Champers… I mean come on love, we’re struggling to do our Sunday big shop here, we don’t need this.

I mean come on, what did you expect love? After grabbing at headlines like a baby at a rattle, it’s hardly surprising that the public want to make you pay for shoving ‘real’ news off the front page of the papers.

The model, 31, has been voted to do every single bush tucker trial since she went into the jungle on Sunday, and last night viewers once again plumped for the glamour puss to do the fourth solo trial in a row.

Throwing the first sign of a tantrum since entering camp, the self proclaimed businesswoman and mother ranted; “I’m absolutely ready to leave camp. I’ve had enough. I want a nice bed and I don’t want to have to put myself through these horrible challenges. I don’t like it. I don’t need it.”

Okay, so being covered in 60,000 cockroaches, swimming in fish guts and having a panic attack during and underground trial might be more than we could stand, but she has been a trooper through most of the trials, so hearing her rant like this has kind of angered me.

Let’s face it, Katie is probably going to be doing every trial until she leaves the jungle… and with her getting a shed load more cash than the other celebs, why the heck shouldn’t she? Make her earn the money I think!!

What’s more, fans of ex-hubby Peter Andre are waging a campaign to urge people to vote for her… brilliant!

So, he’s been working on some new songs, great, we expected as much… but he only reckons they’re better than anything he recorded with Oasis… I mean, WHAT? Oasis are one of the best bands of all time… and you’re only one small part of that mate!

The cocky indie kid (or grandpa as the case may be) is working with the same line-up of Oasis, just minus his brother Noel, who quite the band back in July… so technically it’s Oasis, just without the brains of Noel.

In an interview with MTV Italy, Liam said he had been “demo-ing” tracks with his bandmates ever since Noel walked out prior to a show in Paris in the summer after his rocky relationship with Liam hit a new low.

Liam said: “We’ve been demo-ing some songs that we’ve had about, that we’ve had for a bit. Just doing that, on the quiet, not making a big fuss about it. After Christmas we might go in the studio and record them and hopefully have an album out in July or summat.

“We’ll do it in a different kind of way now. I’ll try and reconnect with a new band, new songs, and I’m feeling confident about the songs. I’m feeling a million per cent confident that they could be better than Oasis.”

It has since emerged that the brothers hardly spoke in the year leading up to Noel’s departure, as Liam revealed; “I love him to bits but we just don’t get on. Me and our kid have never been that close anyway. We’d only sort of hang out when we were on tour. We didn’t have a solid relationship.”

In the interview with website WWD Kate left fans and industry insiders gob smacked, and women up and down the country are vying for their say, with pregnant Denise Van Outen being one of the first to have a go, saying; “Kate Moss is talking out of her size-zero backside! Having been in the industry for so long, she knows the impact her comment will have on any vulnerable young woman.”

What’s more, many critics are worried that Katie’s ‘revelation’ will be hailed as the best thing since *ahem* sliced bread on many anorexia websites… which act as a ‘lifeline’ to many girls who think anorexia is actually the way to go if you want to be ‘beautiful.‘

Whilst experts have branded Kate “shocking and irresponsible” I am just worried that these girls will believe that Kate Moss is stunning & successful, and that she only got their way through not eating. Regardless of whether she did or not, we should be happy with the figures we’ve got, because as women, curves are the most and natural  beautiful thing we have… just look at Kelly Brook.

Whilst loads of us (myself included) thought that Katie would fall flat on her face by going back in the I’m A Celebrity… jungle – and demanding pot loads of cash in the process – we’re actually quite warming to her.

We all knew that she was probably going to be doing most of the grim Bush Tucker Trials, but last night she kicked ass in the Live Trial – never once being all ‘diva-esqe’ but just giving it her best shot.

I think the fact that she said; ‘it’s up to the camp’ when deciding whether or not to pass on drinking beetle juice has been the first step into getting the fans back on her side… good on ya Katie… I’ve got to say, I’m pretty bloody proud of you.

As the legal drinking age in the US is 21, and poor little Luke is only 19, it would mean that he wouldn’t ever be able to have a glass of bubbly at his own wedding and would instead be forced to toast his marriage with a glass of pop.

Whilst Kelly (who is one of my actual heroes) is six years older than her 19-year old beau, she did say; “We’ll get married when I want to. Luke isn’t even 21 yet, so he can’t drink in America, so what’s the point in getting married until he can?” err, because you love him maybe?

I’ve kind of got two issues with this – number one… drinking really shouldn’t be a problem if you want to get married that much, but secondly, isn’t 19 a bit young to be getting married? What do YOU think? Will they still be together by the time the nuptials come around in two years?

Whilst I still actually have to find a way into the awards (and find a dress worthy of bagging myself Jimmy Carr) I am excited to hear that Alan Carr and Michael McIntyre have both got three nominations each, and will battle it out to win both Best Comedy Entertainment Personality and Best Entertainment Programme. Oooh!

Other nominations include our new celeb best mate and Inbetweeners’ star, Simon Bird, for Best Television Comedy Actor, all three kids from Outnumbered (I LOVE them!) for Best Newcomer and Ruth Jones for Best Television Comedy Actress.

In case I don’t get a ticket, or if I do and you’re sat at home in your dressing gown with a bottle of Blossom Hill, the entire shebang will  be shown on ITV1 and ITV2 on Saturday 12 December.

Ms Moss was asked by beauty website WWD what her motto for life is, and Kate replied with the jaw-dropping response; “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels, that’s one of them.” Erm…has she never had warm chocolate fudge cake with cream?

What a healthy message to share with the world… and to think we’re trying to convince girls that size zero isn’t cool,  and that we should embrace who we are as women, rather than trying to get the skeletal look before we’re six feet under.

Asked how she defines beauty, Kate explains, “I think that if you’re beautiful inside, it shows on the outside for sure. You can be a pretty face, but if you’re not a nice person, it just doesn’t work. I’m not traditionally a beauty, but apparently people think I’m all right. If you’re a nice person, it definitely helps.”

After seeing Lady GaGa having a fake jutting out spine for her latest music video, do you really think we’re sending the right message here ladies?
