Resistance Clips

Andrea Riseborough has been making quite a name for herself this year with her central performance in Brighton Rock and she is set to return with Resistance.

She teams up with Michael Sheen while Amit Gupta makes his feature length directorial debut with the movie.

D-Day has failed, Britain is under Nazi occupation!

Sarah Lewis, a 26-year-old farmer’s wife, awakes one morning to find that her husband has disappeared along with all the men in the valley.

Assuming they have joined the Resistance, the women of this tiny community pull together, taking on the running of the farms, and wait, desperate for news.

A German patrol arrives in the valley, the purpose of its mission a mystery. When a severe winter forces the two groups into co-operation, Sarah begins an acquaintance with the patrol’s commanding officer, Albrecht.

Cut off from the surrounding war, the lines between collaboration, duty, occupation and survival become blurred.

Resistance is released 25th November

Midnight In Paris Clips

Woody Allen is back in the director’s chair this week with his new movie Midnight In Paris.

And, as you may expect, some of the biggest names in film have fallen over themselves to work with Allen as he has once again put together an impressive cast list – this is becoming a bit of a habit.

Marion Cotillard, Rachel McAdams, Michael Sheen, Owen Wilson, Kathy Bates and Adrien Brody are all aboard the movie.

Midnight in Paris follows a family travelling to the city for business.

The party includes a young engaged couple that has their lives transformed throughout the journey.

The film celebrates a young man’s great love for Paris, and simultaneously explores the illusion people have that a life different from their own is better.

Kate Moss might be a role model to many a woman, but after revealing her motto in life is… “Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels.” I’m starting to think she should stick to refusing to do media interviews!

The X Factor can rarely get through a series without rumours of a voting fix surfacing, and now it looks as thought 2009’s fix-ation has reared its ugly head as friends of axed contestant Jamie “Afro” Archer are claiming that Simon Cowell “offered him up” to leave, and that the whole thing was a set-up. Ouch!

Keisha Buchannan was never going to take her axing from ‘her’ band lightly, and now it looks certain that the original Sugababes line-up is going to be making a comeback.

Rihanna might have spent all last night having out with her new celeb best mates at her album launch in London.. But we’ve been picking apart her new video… what do you make of it?

The Sugababes seem to have had more line up’s than your local police station, but it looks as though it could finally be the end of the road for the girl group after Keisha Buchannan sent Amelle Berrabah packing.

Eight months after being crowned victor of the mighty X Factor, Alexandra Burke delivers the pop single of the year, ‘Bad Boys’, and we have an exclusive play of her new video.

I’m the first to admit that I’m prone to getting a bit teary when I see someone amazing on the X Factor, but never have my tears been as deserved as last night, for the amazing Scott James.

New Moon’s plot and characters are very slowly being revealed, much to the excitement of fans who simply can’t wait for the release. And today Michael Sheen has admitted that he based his character Aro on the child catcher from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a blood sucking vampire and a kidnapper of children…er right!
