Song For Marion Trailer

Vanessa Redgrave, Terence Stamp and Gemma Arterton team up for new movie Song For Marion while Paul Andrew Williams is in the director’s chair.

And we have the new trailer for you to take a look at ahead of the movie’s release:

A wonderfully, heart-warming story of a loving marriage between grumpy pensioner Arthur (Terence Stamp) and the ever-cheerful Marion (Vanessa Redgrave).

Cantankerous but doting husband Arthur does not share his wife Marion’s passion for performing. While she is happy to sing her heart out with the unconventional local choir, Arthur would prefer to hide himself away and complain about how embarrassing it all is.

But when heartbreak strikes, Arthur is forced to re-think his outlook on life. With the steady perseverance of choir director Elizabeth (Gemma Arterton), Arthur begins to find a way to come out of his shell and in the process forms a touching relationship with Elizabeth as well as a desire to build bridges with his estranged son James (Christopher Eccleston).

New Coriolanus Poster

Coriolanus looks set to be one of the must see movies of early 2012 as Ralph Fiennes makes hit directorial debut.

He has assembled a super impressive cast as he stars alongside Gerard BUtler, Vanessa Redgrave, Brian Cox, Jessica Chastain and James Nesbitt.

Based on the Shakespeare play Fiennes takes the title role of Coriolanus, a revered Roman General at odds with the city of Rome and his fellow citizens.

Pushed by his controlling mother Volumnia (Vanessa Redgrave) to enter the Senate, he is loath to ingratiate himself with the masses whose votes he needs in order to secure a Senate seat.

When the public refuse to support him, Coriolanus’s anger prompts a riot which culminates in his expulsion from Rome.

The banished hero then allies himself with his sworn enemy Tullus Aufidius (Gerard Butler) to take his revenge on the city.

Coriolanus is released 20th January. Take a look at the new poster for the film:

More Anonymous Clips

New movie Anonymous seems to have got hardcore William Shakespeare in a right old state as the movie suggests that perhaps he didn’t pen his work himself.

Roland Emmerich is back as he swaps blockbuster for period drama with Anonymous and he seems to have ruffled a few feathers.

Set in the political snake-pit of Elizabethan England the movie speculates on an issue that has for centuries intrigued academics and brilliant minds such as Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, and Sigmund Freud, namely: who actually created the body of work credited to William Shakespeare?

Experts have debated, books have been written, and scholars have devoted their lives to protecting or debunking theories surrounding the authorship of the most renowned works in English literature.

“Anonymous” poses one possible answer, focusing on a time when scandalous political intrigue, illicit romances in the Royal Court, and the schemes of greedy nobles lusting for the power of the throne were brought to light in the most unlikely of places: the London stage.

Rhys Ifans leads an all star cast that includes Vanessa Redgrave, Joely Richardson, David Thewlis and Xavier Samuel.

After finding a woman who has escaped from a human trafficker selling sex slaves to hidden brothels in the area, Kathryn begins to see how expansive an industry it has become in the years following the war.

As she gathers more and more evidence to bring to light she discovers the last thing she ever expected, that there is no way for the corporate army and UN officers to be held accountable for their actions.

Based on the harrowing true story of a single womans quest for justice in the face of a truth no one wanted to expose and organizations facilitating the very crimes they were created to stop. But is one woman enough to go up against the United Nations and its corporate conspirators.
