The film sees Schwarzenegger team up with director Kim Jee-Woon while Forest Whitaker and Johnny Knoxville are also on the cast list.

After leaving his LAPD narcotics post following a bungled operation that left him wracked with remorse and regret, Sheriff Ray Owens (Schwarzenegger) moved out of Los Angeles and settled into a life fighting what little crime takes place in sleepy border town Sommerton Junction.

But that peaceful existence is shattered when Gabriel Cortez (Eduardo Noriega), the most notorious, wanted drug kingpin in the western hemisphere, makes a deadly yet spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy.

With the help of a fierce band of lawless mercenaries led by the icy Burrell (Peter Stormare), Cortez begins racing towards the US-Mexico border at 250 mph in a specially-outfitted Corvette ZR1 with a hostage in tow.

Cortez’ path: straight through Sommerton Junction, where the whole of the U.S. law enforcement, including Agent John Bannister (Forest Whitaker) will have their final opportunity to intercept him before the violent fugitive slips across the border forever.

At first reluctant to become involved, and then counted out because of the perceived ineptitude of his small town force, Owens ultimately rallies his team and takes the matter into his own hands, setting the stage for a classic showdown.

The Last Stand is released 24th January.

The Tomb Image

We will be seeing Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger sharing a screen together this week with the release of the Expendables 2 but a second project The Tomb is around the corner.

Yes Stallone & Schwarzenegger are set to return in a new action movie next year and here is the first pic of the pair together on that movie.

The movie is directed by Mikael Håfström, in what is his first movie since The Rite.

But Stallone and Schwarzenegger are not the only stars on the cast list as Jim Caviezel, Sam Neill, Vincent D’Onofrio, Amy Ryan and 50 Cent are all on board.

The world’s foremost authority on structural security is forced to escape from the master prison of his own design and use every trick up his sleeve to find the person who put him there.

The Tomb is released next year.

The Expendables 2 New Pics

The Expendables 2 is one of the movies that I am looking forward to this summer after being a fan of the first film a couple of years ago.

The Expendables was a movie that brought a whole host of action actors together and then saw them kick everyone’s ass – just as you would expect them to – and this time around the movie and the cast list promises to be bigger and better.

Sylvester Stallone is back, although he is not directing this time as Simon West is in the chair, while Jason Statham, Jet Li and Dolph Lundgren are all back.

And while we caught a glimpse of Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger first time around with the second movie the pair of them have much bigger roles.

Of course a new movie means new characters so Liam Hemsworth, Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme are the three big names to join the cast list.

After Tool (Mickey Rourke), the heart and soul of the Expendables, is brutally murdered on a mission, his comrades swear to avenge him.

They’re not the only ones who want blood. Tool’s beautiful young and wild daughter Fiona embarks on her own revenge mission, complicating matters when she is captured and ransomed by a ruthless dictator plotting to destroy a resistance movement.

Now Barney and the Expendables must risk everything to save her and humanity.

The Expendables is released 17th August.

First The Expendables 2 Trailer

Now I don’t know about you but I was a big fan of The Expendables when it hit the big screen back in 2010, it did exactly what is said on the tin and that was kick some ass.

So it’s unsurprising really that Sly Stallone and co are back two years later to kick some more bad guys into touch.

And we have the first trailer for the movie for you to take a quick look at – it is awesome!!

Stallone is not in the director’s chair this time around as that job has fallen to Simon West.

However the Hollywood hardman does lead a pretty awesome cast as Jason Statham, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jet Li, Jean Claude Van Damme, Dolph Lundgren and Liam Hemsworth are all aboard.

Mr. Church reunites the Expendables for what should be an easy paycheck, but when one of their men is murdered on the job, their quest for revenge puts them deep in enemy territory and up against an unexpected threat.

The Expendables 2 is released 17th August.

The Expendables 2 Poster

I have to admit that I was a big fan of The Expendables as it did exactly what is said on the tin and it was a huge amount of fun.

So was great news to hear that a sequel was in the pipeline and we have a first poster for you to take a look at.

Sylvester Stallone is back, however he will not be directing the project this year, which Jason Statham and Jet Li are just two of the returning names.

Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger had bit parts in the first movie but it seems that their roles are set to be much bigger – Jean Claude Van Damme is also a new face on the cast list.

Simon West is in the directors chair this time around and the movie promises to be a rip-roaring ride.

The Expendables 2 is released 17th August. Take a look at the poster for the movie:

New Expendables Clips

You have got to love a bit of Sylvester Stallone right? He’s back on the big screen next month with his new movie The Expendables, which brings together a rather impressive cast.

Yes Stallone, who also directs the movie, is joined by Jason Statham, Jet Li, Mickey Rourke, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis and Arnold Schwarzenegger who, quite frankly, are all there to kick some butt!

Barney Ross (Stallone) is a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe.

His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as “removing those hard to get at stains.”

The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Li), a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.

When the mysterious Church offers Barney a job no one else would take, Barney and his team embark on what appears to be a routine mission: overthrow General Gaza (David Zayas), the murderous dictator of the small island country of Vilena and end the years of death and destruction inflicted on its people.

On a reconnaissance mission to Vilena, Barney and Christmas meet their contact Sandra (Giselle Itie), a local freedom-fighter with a dark secret.

They also come to learn who their true enemy is: rogue ex-CIA operative James Monroe (Eric Roberts) and his henchman Paine (Steve Austin).

When things go terribly wrong, Barney and Christmas are forced to leave Sandra behind, essentially giving her a death sentence.

Haunted by this failure, Barney convinces the team to return to Vilena to rescue the hostage and finish the job he started. And to perhaps save a soul: his own.

The Expendables is released 19th August. Take a look at some new clips from the movie:

New The Expendables Images

The Expendables is another movie that could be a must see this summer as director Sylvester Stallone, who also stars in the movie, has brought together a great cast.

Stallone stars alongside Jaston Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Eric Roberts, Micket Rourke with Bruce Willis and arnold Schwarzenegger also making an appearance.

The Expendables is a hard-hitting action/thriller about a group of mercenaries hired to infiltrate a South American country and overthrow its ruthless dictator. Once the mission begins, the men realize things arent quite as they appear, finding themselves caught in a dangerous web of deceit and betrayal.

With their mission thwarted and an innocent life in danger, the men struggle with an even tougher challenge one that threatens to destroy this band of brothers.
