White House Down Behind The Scenes Image

Director Roland Emmerich has released a behind the scenes image of Channing Tatum on the set of White House Down on Twitter.

Emmerich is back in the director’s chair for the action film that sees Tatum lead an all star cast.

It is another action movie for Tatum and will see him, once again, kicking some ass. Check out the new image:

Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Jason Clarke and Richard Jenkins are all also on the cast list while Emmerich is in the director’s chair for the first time since Anonymous.

Capitol Policeman John Cale (Channing Tatum) has just been denied his dream job with the Secret Service of protecting President James Sawyer (Jamie Foxx).

Not wanting to let down his little girl with the news, he takes her on a tour of the White House, when the complex is overtaken by a heavily armed paramilitary group.

Now, with the nation’s government falling into chaos and time running out, it’s up to Cale to save the president, his daughter, and the country.

White House Down is released 6th September.

We love a bit of Channing Tatum here at FemaleFirst and he is set to return to the big screen with White House Down.

We have already shared a poster with you this week and now we have the fantastic new trailer for you to check out.

Channing Tatum is joined on the cast list by Oscar winner Jamie Foxx, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Richard Jenkins while Roland Emmerich is in the director’s chair.

White House Down Poster

We are going to have to wait until September to check out White House Down but a teaser poster has been revealed for the movie.

The movie sees Roland Emmerich back in the director’s chair while Channing Tatum and Jamie Foxx lead the cast list.

The poster doesn’t give anything away but it will get you asking questions about the movie:

Joey King, Jason Clarke, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Richard Jenkins and James Woods make up the rest of the cast list for what looks set to be an exciting ride.

While on a tour of the White House with his young daughter, a police officer (Tatum) springs into action to protect his child and the president (Foxx) from a heavily armed group of paramilitary invaders.

White House Down is released 6th September.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation TV Spot

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is one of the action movies that I am quite looking forward to as there are some exciting new additions to the franchise.

The first movie was far from a rip-roaring triumph but with Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis joining the returning Channing Tatum this film should far a little better.

And it is Johnson who is the focus of this great new TV spot for the film:

Jon M. Chu is in the director’s chair this time around while Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Ray Stevenson and Arnold Vosloo are also on the cast list.

In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.

G.I. Joe Retaliation hits the big screen later this Spring and Cobra are calling on those people who think they have what it takes to join them.

Yes the viral campaign for the film is underway and it is set to be one of the early event films of 2013.

Channing Tatum is back as Duke while Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis are some of the new faces on the cast list.

Side Effects UK Trailer

I love a Steven Soderbergh film and he is back in the chair this March with his new film Side Effects.

It is his first directorial outing since the success of Magic Mike and the movie sees him reunite with Channing Tatum.

We love at bit of Tatum here at FemaleFirst and this looks set to be an exciting project for the actor as he teams up with Catherine Zeta Jones, Jude Law and Rooney Mara.

It was back in 2009 when the G.I. Joe franchise hit the big screen for the first time but this March sees it return in the from of G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

This time around Jon M. Chu is in the director’s chair while Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have penned the screenplay.

Magic Mike Premiere Image

Channing Tatum and Matthew McConaughey delighted fans in London earlier this week as they graced the red carpet for the European premiere of Magic Mike,

Directed by Steven Soderbergh the movie is based on Tatum’s experiences of being a stripper before he became an actor.

Both Tatum and McConaughey play strippers in the movie alongside Brit actor Alex Pettyfer.

They both arrive at the Mayfair Hotel for the premiere with their other halves as Jenna Dewan and Camila Alves.

To a rebellious 19-year-old kid (Pettyfer) looking for independence from his family, Magic Mike (Tatum) seems like the perfect role model: he’s got a nice car, a nice apartment, and a seemingly endless supply of women.

What’s his secret? He’s a male stripper, and when the kid dives headlong into Magic Mike’s world, his mad dancing skills and hunger for excitement make for an unforgettable summer…

Magic Mike Trailer

Channing Tatum has been a super busy boy so far this year with the likes of Haywire, The Vow and 21 Jump Street already under his belt.

Be is back on the big screen this summer with Magic Mike, which is just one of his summer projects; the other being G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

The movie sees him reunite with Haywire filmmaker Steven Soderbergh as the movie nods back to Tatum’s stripping days before he became an actor.
