Paris Might Escape Drug Charges Due To Lazy Cops

Paris Hilton better thank her lucky stars because it seems the man in the sky is shining down on herâ€¦

The heiress might escape a jail term – despite being caught with cocaine in a handbag she was carrying – because the cops who caught her failed to give her a blood test.

Paris is still claiming that the bag she was carrying belonged to someone else (despite posting a picture of it on her Twitter page a few weeks ago) and because the police didnâ€™t bother to give her a test, there is no proof as to whether she did take the drug or not.

Paris herself denies all the charges, ranting on Twitter last week, “These rumors (sic) going around are so ridiculous, untrue and cruel. I’m not going to even pay attention to them, because I know the truth.”

Paris Hilton was hoping to get away with having a bag of cocaine fall out of a handbag she was holding by saying it wasn’t actually her bag. Fair enough right? But now we have a small problem, as she posted a photo of the very same purse on Twitter a few weeks ago.

According to Paris’ camp, the bag was far too ‘cheap’ to have been owned by Paris herself, so what did she start bragging about the one thought to be the one from that night to her followers then?

Lesson to Paris : showing off doesn’t get you anywhereâ€¦ except possibly jail.

Paris Hilton Refuses To Discuss Cocaine Scandal

So, Paris Hilton was arrested for the third time this weekend after a bag of cocaine fell out of a handbag she was holding.

Paris and her man of the moment Cy Waits had been pulled over by police in Las Vegas when the debacle happened; according to reports Paris reached into the handbag to retrieve some lip balm and a package containing cocaine fell onto the floor. She was arrested but soon freed ‘pending further investigation’.

Earlier this year she was arrested in South Africa for allegedly smoking a spliff and then a little later was banged up in Corsica for having cannabis in her bag – crikey, she isn’t half getting herself into a pickle isnt she?

Lawyers for Paris have issued a statement saying, “This matter will be dealt with in the courts, not in the media, and I encourage people not to rush to judgment until all of the facts have been dealt with in a court of law.”

Paris needn’t worry though as all her friends are claiming the handbag is “too cheap” to belong to her so it couldn’t’ have been hersâ€¦ she must have just been borrowing someone else’s lip balm.
