G.I. Joe: Retaliation is one of the action movies that I am quite looking forward to as there are some exciting new additions to the franchise.

The first movie was far from a rip-roaring triumph but with Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis joining the returning Channing Tatum this film should far a little better.

And it is Johnson who is the focus of this great new TV spot for the film:

Jon M. Chu is in the director’s chair this time around while Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Ray Stevenson and Arnold Vosloo are also on the cast list.

It was back in 2009 when the G.I. Joe franchise hit the big screen for the first time but this March sees it return in the from of G.I. Joe: Retaliation.

This time around Jon M. Chu is in the director’s chair while Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick have penned the screenplay.

Channing Tatum will be reprising the role of Captain Duke Hauser but there are some fantastic new faces on the cast list including action heroes Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson.

D.J. Cotrona, Byung-hun Lee, Adrianne Palicki, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce and Ray Stevenson are also on the cast list.

It seems that we are going to be seeing blockbusters on the big screen even earlier than usual next year as G.I. Joe Retaliation is one of the first event movies of 2012.
