Katie Waissel’s life seems to be going form bad to worse recently… first she realises that most of the British public cant stand having her on the X Factor (not us though, we love her) and now the poor thing has had to deal with her Grandma telling the press that she’s a prostitute.
Katie’s 81-year-old granny Sheila Vogel has adopted the alias Cecilia Bird and has been working as a prostitute and charging £250 per hour on website Vintage Vamps, dedicated to elderly hanky panky.

Addressing the issue, Katie’s family have released an official statement about the allegations. Her sister, Natalie Davis, released the following statement on behalf of her family, saying:
“We were completely shocked and devastated to hear of the news that my grandmother, Sheila Vogel, has been conducting immoral activities, including prostitution and pornography.
“We, as a family, disassociate ourselves wholly from these activities and from any future stories that arise from them. It is a personal family matter and we would ask that during this difficult time we are allowed space to deal with it as a family. There will be no further comment.”
