The images feature a first look at Elizabeth Banks as Effie – who looks terrific – as well as President Snow and Plutarch Heavensbee.

The spoof Christian Dior ad with Jennifer Lawrence which I want to be real

Jennifer Lawrence is a completely normal girl, who may have just won an Oscar at the age of 22.

But, anyway, time and time again on the red carpet she’s proved that she’s fun, has a sense of humour and is down-to-earth.

Here at the FemaleFirst offices; We Love Her.

As you’ve most probably read everywhere now, she tripped up on the way to the stage to receive her Best Actress award, and we all were completely endeared to her.

Now this has been made by a Tumblr user.

7017c9b4-b9ac-4bed-bbca-10748c09a030_christian_dior_jennifer_lawrence1A spoof ad for Christian Dior – whom her dress for the evening was by.

Does anyone else but me want this to be used in all seriousness?

The ad says that normal girls, who are going to trip, fall over, maybe spill a drink down the dress, can wear Dior Haute Couture dresses.

It’s much more real than a size zero model trying to sell stiff clothes that don’t look comfortable to wear.

I for one wish I would see this ad next time I’m flicking through Elle, Vogue etc.

Hair trend at the Baftas – The wet look

Jennifer Lawrence and Alicia Vikander stepped out on the red carpet for the Baftas on Sunday evening, both sporting a very on-trend hairstyle, the wet look.

The beauty look was also seen on the SS13 catwalks of Alexander Wang and Rag + Bone.

Sleek, slicked back hair is THE hair trend this spring. Worn poker straight and slicked back away from the face, the look is perfect for exposing beautiful gowns and jewels.

With the help of the experts at Nicky Clarke, you can get the look at home with these tips and using the Nicky Clarke Pro Salon Straightener with Comb.

Using the very latest in technology, innovation and design, the Mayfair Collection is at the cutting edge of hair styling and represents the philosophy of Nicky Clarke’s Mayfair salon: beautifully styled hair for every individual.

This is NOT your ordinary straightener. The Salon Pro Straightener features wide ceramic plates for a smooth shiny finish and a built in comb for salon-style straightening. This unique feature offers optimum styling control.

The straightener is also versatile, with 6 variable heat settings to suit all hair types and tourmaline coated plates to lock in your hair’s natural moisture.

The Salon Pro Straightener With Comb is your own portable hair stylist.

International Creative Director at Nicky Clarke, Warren Holmes gives his expert tips on how to recreate this look…

1. Dry the hair until 90% dry – don’t toss your head upside down, do it in a controlled manner to keep the parting in place and avoid any frizz made by rough drying. Use the dryer in a downwards direction, making sure the roots are flat and away from your forehead.
2. Take two inch sections of hair starting from the front hair line and working backwards.
3. Using a Nicky Clarke Salon Pro Straightener With Comb, straighten the hair from the roots to ends.
4. Straighten in one single motion in order to close the hair cuticle and create sleek hair. The secret to creating that mirrored effect.

More The Hunger Games: Catching Fire Images

Jennifer Lawrence will be reprising the role of heroine Katniss Everdeen alongside Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson and Woody Harrelson.

But there are also some new faces on the cast list including Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Philip Seymour Hoffman.

And we get a first look at Hoffman as Plutarch Heavensbee in this new trio of images:

She is currently filming her latest movie Serena and we have the first image from the movie for you to take a look at.

The movie sees her team up with the rather lovely Bradley Cooper, also in the pic, as well as Toby Jones and Rhys Ifans.

Serena will hit big screens next year.

Latest The Hunger Games Images

The release of The Hunger Games is now just over a month away and it promises to be one of the most successful movies of early 2012.

Now I have to admit I am not familiar with the novels but the movie looks an intriguing one – and it will be great to see Jennifer Lawrence in this type of role.

And with the film release just around the corner we have a couple more new images for you to take a look at.

In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts.

Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games. Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch.

When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place.

She and her male counterpart, Peeta, the son of the town baker who seems to have all the fighting skills of a lump of bread dough, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.

The Hunger Games is released 23rd March

The Hunger Games Final Poster

To say that there is excitement around the release of The Hunger Games is a bit of an understatement as the popular Suzanne Collins novel has been adapted for the big screen.

Jennifer Lawrence flexes her action muscles for this movie as she takes on a very different role to what we have seen from her in the past.

While she picked up an Oscar nomination for Winter’s Bone this looks set to be her move high profile movie to date.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games.

Part twisted entertainment, part government intimidation tactic; the Hunger Games are a nationally televised event in which ‘Tributes’ must fight with one another until one survivor remains.

The Hunger Games is released 23rd March and here is the final poster for the movie:
