The Odd Life of Timothy Green Clips

The Odd Life of Timothy Green is set to be one of the most charming movies of the spring as Peter Hedges returns to the director’s chair.

This is the first film for Hedges since he helmed Dan In Real Life and he has also penned the screenplay for the film.

We have some great new clips from the film for you to check out:

The Odd Life of Timothy Green is the latest project from Walt Disney Picture and brings together a great cast that includes Jennifer Garner and Joel Edgerton.

The title role of Timothy Green will be played by CJ Adams in what will only be his second acting role.

The movie will reunites Adams with director Hedges after the pair worked together on Dan In Real Life.

The movie follows happily married couple, Cindy and Jim Green (Garner and Edgerton), who can’t wait to start a family but can only dream about what their child would be like.

When young Timothy (CJ Adams) shows up on their doorstep one stormy night, Cindy and Jim – and their small town of Stanleyville… learn that sometimes the unexpected can bring some of life’s greatest gifts.

The Odd Life of Timothy Green is released 5th April.

More Zero Dark Thirty Pictures

Zero Dark Thirty is set to be one of THE movie that is not to be missed in January as Kathryn Bigelow returns to the director’s chair for the firs time since The Hurt Locker.

Bigelow picked up the Best Director Oscar for The Hurt Locker and it is exciting to see where she goes next.

Her new project sees her reunite with writer Mark Boal while the likes of Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong and Joel Edgerton are just some of the names on the cast list.

For a decade, an elite team of intelligence and military operatives, working in secret across the globe, devoted themselves to a single goal: to find and eliminate Osama bin Laden.

Zero Dark Thirty is the story of history’s greatest manhunt for the world’s most dangerous man.

Zero Dark Thirty is released 25th January 2013

Kathryn Bigelow was the talk of Hollywood back in 2009 when she directed The Hurt Locker – for which she became the first woman to win the Best Director Oscar.

And early 2013 will see her return to the chair with another war themed movie Zero Dark Thirty… could lightening strike twice?

She has once again teamed up with Mark Boal as he has penned the screenplay for the film.

Joel Edgerton, Jessica Chastain, Mark Strong, Edgar Ramirez, Jason Clarke are all on the cast list as this is set to be one of the most talked about movies of early 2013.

Three New Images From The Great Gatsby

We may only be in June but there are a whole host of autumn/winter movies that I am already super excited for and The Great Gatsby is one of them.

The movie marks the return to the director’s chair for Baz Luhrmann as he brings the F.Scott Fitzgerald story to life.

And no one captures a period like Luhrmann with the likes of Moulin Rouge and Australia looking absolutely stunning – and he looks set to triumph again with his latest project.

Three new images from the movie have been released and once again the director has captured the look, feel and fashion of the glamorous 1920′s

The Great Gatsby sees Leonardo DiCaprio take on the role of Jay Gatsby and he is joined on the cast list by Carey Mulligan, Tobey Maguire, Joel Edgerton and Isla Fisher.

However we do have to be patient as The Great Gatsby will not be hitting the big screen here in the UK until 26th December.

New Warrior Clips

I know that I have been harping on about Warrior for the last few weeks but it is a movie that I am super excited to see – and it reaches our screens this week.

Tom Hardy is back, just a week after Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy; where he sported a very interesting haircut, as he stars alongside Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte.

Warrior has already been met well by critics and audiences in America and now it is time to see what all the fuss is about.

An ex-Marine haunted by a tragic past, Tommy Riordan returns to his hometown of Pittsburgh and enlists his father, a recovered alcoholic and his former coach, to train him for an MMA tournament awarding the biggest purse in the history of the sport.

As Tommy blazes a violent path towards the title prize, his brother, Brendan, a former MMA fighter unable to make ends meet as a public school teacher, returns to the amateur ring to provide for his family.

Even though years have passed, recriminations and past betrayals keep Brendan bitterly estranged from both Tommy and his father.

But when Brendan’s unlikely rise as an underdog sets him on a collision course with Tommy, the two brothers must finally confront the forces that tore them apart, all the while waging the most intense, winner-takes-all battle of their lives.

Warrior is released 21st September.

The Thing First Clip

This year sees director Matthijs van Heijningen Jr. bring a new version of 1982 horror classic The Thing to the big screen – with Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Joel Edgerton on the cast list.

Antarctica: an extraordinary continent of awesome beauty. It is also home to an isolated outpost where a discovery full of scientific possibility becomes a mission of survival when an alien is unearthed by a crew of international scientists.

The shape-shifting creature, accidentally unleashed at this marooned colony, has the ability to turn itself into a perfect replica of any living being.

It can look just like you or me, but inside, it remains inhuman. In the thriller The Thing, paranoia spreads like an epidemic among a group of researchers as they’re infected, one by one, by a mystery from another planet.

Paleontologist Kate Lloyd (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) has travelled to the desolate region for the expedition of her lifetime. Joining a Norwegian scientific team that has stumbled across an extraterrestrial ship buried in the ice, she discovers an organism that seems to have died in the crash eons ago.

But it is about to wake up. When a simple experiment frees the alien from its frozen prison, Kate must join the crew’s pilot, Carter (Joel Edgerton), to keep it from killing them off one at a time.

And in this vast, intense land, a parasite that can mimic anything it touches will pit human against human as it tries to survive and flourish.

The Thing is released 2nd October – take a look at the first clip from the movie:
