Hard to believe that when The Fast and the Furious was released back in 2001 that this franchise would span five movies.

But yes a fifth movie is on the way as Vin Diesel and Paul Walker return as the racing duo Dominic Toretto and Brian O’Connor.

Directed by Justin Lin the movie also sees Jordana Brewster return while Dwayne Johnson and Tyrese Gibson are also on the cast list.

Dominic and his crew find themselves on the wrong side of the law once again as they try to switch lanes between a ruthless drug lord and a relentless federal agent.

Fast Five is due for a June 10 release and here is the first image from the movie:
