There are a whole host of movies that we are looking forward to this May and Epic is one of them.

The makers of Ice Age and Rio are back with Epic – an animation that looks at the powerf of nature and how it needs to be protected.

Once again a great voice cast has been assembled as Amanda Seyfried, Colin Farrell, Josh Hutcherson, Beyonce and Christoph Waltz are all on board.

In this latest featurette the cast discuss what this new movie is all about:

We have already been treated to a host of great animation movies this year and there is another just around the corner in the form of Epic.

Red Dawn Clip

Red Dawn was first released back in 1984 but now first time filmmaker Dan Bradley has remade it for 2012.

The director has brought together a great cast that includes Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas, Adrianne Palicki and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.

And we have a new clip from the film for you to check out:

In Red Dawn, a city in Washington state awakens to the surreal sight of foreign paratroopers dropping from the sky – shockingly, the U.S. has been invaded and their hometown is the initial target.

Quickly and without warning, the citizens find themselves prisoners and their town under enemy occupation.

Determined to fight back, a group of young patriots seek refuge in the surrounding woods, training and reorganizing themselves into a guerilla group of fighters.

Taking inspiration from their high school mascot, they call themselves the Wolverines, banding together to protect one another, liberate their town from its captors, and take back their freedom.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island Clip

It’s been four years since Journey To The Centre of the Earth hit the big screen but this week sees the release of the follow up movie.

Josh Hutcherson is back as Sean Anderson and he once again finds himself on an unbelievable adventure.

This time around he is joined by al all star cast that include Dwayne Johnson, Michael Caine and Vanessa Hudgens.

And we have a clip from the movie for you to take a look at:

The Mysterious Island” begins when young Sean Anderson (Hutcherson) receives a coded distress signal from a mysterious island where no island should exist.

It’s a place of strange life forms, mountains of gold, deadly volcanoes, and more than one astonishing secret.

Unable to stop him from going, Sean’s new stepfather, Hank (Johnson), joins the quest.

Together with a helicopter pilot (Luis Guzman) and his beautiful, strong-willed daughter (Hudgens), they set out to find the island, rescue its lone inhabitant and escape before seismic shockwaves force the island under the sea and bury its treasures forever.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is out now.

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island Trailer

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is the sequel to the 2008 film Journey to the Centre of the Earth and sees Brad Peyton takes over the reigns.

We have a new story as well as an entirely new cast as we are set to be swept into an undiscovered world.

Sean Anderson partners with his mom’s boyfriend on a mission to find his grandfather, who is thought to be missing on a mythical island.

Josh Hutcherson leads the cast as Sean and he is joined by Dwayne Johnson, Vanessa Hudgens and the legend that is Michael Caine.

This movie looks set to be a sure fire winner with the kids – but Johnson’s dancing pecs is laugh out loud funny!

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is released 10th February 2012.

The Hunger Games Poster

Filming has not long since begun on The Hunger Games but it is already a movie that is causing a lot of excitement as the popular novel is being brought to the big screen.

Academy Award nominee Jennifer Lawrence takes on the central role of Katniss Everdeen in the Gary Ross directed movie.

She is joined on the cast list by Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth as they star as Peeta Mellark and Gale Hawthorne.

Elizabeth Banks, Woody Harrelson, Stanley Ticci and Donald Sutherland are all on the cast list.

In a not-too-distant future, the United States of America has collapsed, weakened by drought, fire, famine, and war, to be replaced by Panem, a country divided into the Capitol and 12 districts.

Each year, two young representatives from each district are selected by lottery to participate in The Hunger Games.

Part entertainment, part brutal intimidation of the subjugated districts, the televised games are broadcasted throughout Panem as the 24 participants are forced to eliminate their competitors, literally, with all citizens required to watch.

When 16-year-old Katniss’ young sister, Prim, is selected as the mining district’s female representative, Katniss volunteers to take her place.

She and her male counterpart, Peeta, the son of the town baker who seems to have all the fighting skills of a lump of bread dough, will be pitted against bigger, stronger representatives who have trained for this their whole lives.
