Katy Perry – Part Of Me Trailer

Katy Perry will be heading to the big screen this summer with concert movie Part Of Me.

The movie follows the superstar through rehearsals and her tour and shows the ups and downs of life on the role.

And we have the first trailer for the movie to share with you:

Concert movies have been hugely successful in recent years with the likes of the Jonah Brothers and Justin Bieber releasing gigs as well as behind the scenes footage,

Dan Cutforth & Jane Lipsitz are in the director’s chair for the foray into Perry’s world, which also sees her interacting with her loyal fans.

New Smurfs Trailer

It seems that Hollywood can’t help but bring popular stars of TV to the big screen – and 2011 isn’t any different as The Smurfs get a silver screen makeover.

When the evil wizard Gargamel chases the tiny blue Smurfs out of their village, they tumble from their magical world and into ours — in fact, smack dab in the middle of Central Park.

Just three apples high and stuck in the Big Apple, the Smurfs must find a way to get back to their village before Gargamel tracks them down.

The Smurfs features the voices of Alan Cumming, Katy Perry, Anton Yelchin, Pual Reubens, B.J. Novak, Fred Armisen, George Lopez, Kenan Thompson, John Oliver, Jonathan Winters, with Hank Azaria playing Gargamel.

So THIS Is What Katy Perry Looks Like With No Make Up…

There’s nothing like seeing one of the most beautiful women in the world without any make up on to make us feel 100% better about not being able to get back into our skinny jeans after Christmas.

So maybe we did eat five too many mince pies, but at least we’re only human, just like Katy Perry, who has been snapped in an altogether non-flattering picture.

Mr Perry (Russell Brand) snapped a picture of his wifey first thing in the morning and posted it on his Twitter page, before taking it down moments later…. Not fast enough for us though, as we managed to get our paws on the snap before it disappeared.

He might be in big trouble, but lets face it, she doesn’t look ‘that’ bad….

Russell Brand In Manchester Tonight…. Who’s Coming?

I know I’m the music writer, but I thought I’d share my plans for this evening with you as I sit here and eat my jacket potato with tuna, because, well quite simply, I think I’m going to explode with excitement.

Katy Perry’s fiancée (see, there’s the music connection) is rolling into Manchester tonight for a spot of stand up at the opera House as part of his Booky Wook 2 Tour, and guess who’s going…. Me!

I’ve loved Russell ever since he and Noel fielding acted up on that Big Fat Quiz of The Year a few Christmases back, and I cant wait to see what he’s like when he does little bits of stand up, reads extracts from his book and even has an interview with Matt Morgan!

Not only that but O.M.actual.G, fans can even ask Russell questions… I’ve already got about 10 in my head… Pick Me! Pick me!

Russell will also be calling at Bristol Hippodrome tomorrow night and Alexandra in Birmingham.

First Smurfs Image

The Smurfs will be making it to a big screen near you in 2011 and we have the very first image from the movie for you to take a quick look at.

The movie brings together a voice cast of Katy Perry, Anton Yelchin, Alan Cumming and Jonathan Winters as well as live action performances from Neil Patrick Harris and Hank Azaria.

According to USA Today, the movie will open with scenes in which Gargamel discovers the Smurfs’ magical village and scatters them into the woods.

Director Raja Gosnell then reveals, “Unfortunately, Clumsy goes the wrong way into a forbidden grotto where a few other Smurfs follow. Because it’s a blue moon, there’s a magical portal that transports them to Central Park.”

Ruth’s Wednesday Waffle

Katy Perry & Russell Brand have gone from single, to love-up, to engaged and now, quite possibly, to pregnant in just a couple of months. Err, wow!!

Jude Law, the man we all know we really shouldn’t fancy, but soooooo do – looks like he might be planning to propose to girlfriend Sienna Miller. For the second time.

Celebrity Big Brother just got SO much better after announcing there is going to be a double eviction this Friday! But does this mean a new housemate could be going in?!?

Girls Can’t Catch… Okay, so not the best name for a band, and it kinda reminds me of the fact that I am utterly rubbish at sport, but considering I’ve listened to their new single Echo on loop for the past 20 minutes I think GCC don’t need to worry about Physical Education.

Carey Mulligan is well and truly becoming a rising star in Hollywood thanks to her role in An Education. And that success continues after being nominated for the Orange Rising Star Award, the only public voted category at the Baftas.

Good news all you Indiana Jones fans Harrison Ford has revealed that he would return to the character for a fifth movie. And with whispers of another film in the pipeline he might just get his wish.

Ivyrise are officially our favourite celebrity best mates (sorry about that Sebastian Vettel) and seen as though they’re dead nice and hunky and have a new single coming out, we thought we’d invite them back into our office.

Russell Brand Is Soooooo Romantic!

To be honest, we always thought Russell Brand was just a loud-mouthed lout who landed on his feet when he met the gorgeous Miss Katy Perry, but it looks as thought he’s actually a real softie after details of his proposal have come to light.

The TV personality had apparently planned a lovely romantic evening with his girlfriend, which began with him treating Katy to an expensive traditional Indian dress to wear on the night, before taking her by horse and carriage to a private dinner in a flower-covered garden.

As if that wasn’t enough, he then whisked her off to watch some fireworks by sitting on (wait for it…) elephants! Before he walked his lady to another area of the garden – pre decorated with candles and flowers – where Katy had to look amongst the petals for a gift.

When Katy found the ring, Russell got down on one knee and popped the question… aww!!! What a lucky lady Katy is… and if rumours that they will be married by June are true, it looks set to be one hell of a summer party!

Ruth’s Monday Moan

There’s nothing like showing your love for your beau by wearing underwear of his favourite football team. But that’s exactly what Katy Perry did at this week’s MTV Europe Awards as she wore the West ham themed outfit with the word Rusty printed across her bum… it’s nice to see that romance isn’t dead!

Kevin Federline is going to be a father for the fifth time, yes his current partner is pregnant. Now I’m sure that you are a great father and all but I have just one word for you… condom!

Uma Thurman has revealed that she is keen to start working on the third Kill Bill movie, I mean is there really need for a third film? Hard to see where the story is going to go with Bill being dead and all.
