First Knight of Cups Image

The first image from Terrence Malick’s new film Knight of Cups has been revealed.

Christian Bale and Natalie Portman feature in the image and they are set to lead an all star cast in the Malick directed movie.

Bale is working with Malick for the second time after the pair teamed up for The New World back in 2005 while this is Portman’s first collaboration with the director.

Knight of Cups comes hot off the heels of his last movie To The Wonder and some footage from the film is set to be screened at the Cannes Film Festival over the coming days.

Bale and Portman are joined by Cate Blanchett, Teresa Palmer, Antonio Banderas, Joe Manganiello and Freida Pinto.

Knight of Cups kicks off a busy period for the actor as he has also finished work on Voyage of Time as well as a yet untitled movie.

Bale, Portman and Blanchett are set to star in that untitled movie alongside Ryan Gosling, Rooney Mara and Michael Fassbender.

Young Players in Hollywood

These lot have recently been catapulted in catasphropic stardom, not only for their acting ability but the bold choices they make on the red carpet. Flawless doesn’t begin to describe some of their personal style.

First up we have Chloe Moretz. The 14-year-old has been around for a fair few years but it was only since 2010 and her role in Kick Ass that she started to grace the pages of fashion magazines. With an up-coming film with Blake Lively, Hick, there is a chance that her fashion choice will not flounder but become only more beautiful.

Hailiee Steinfield got to show us plenty of her red carpet style after her critically acclaimed performance in True Grit. With plenty of nominations over the course of the Awards Season she made a huge number of appearences each time looking beautiful and age appropriate. The 14-year-old was recently named as the new face of Miu Miu and managed to turn my distaste for the Spring collection into a fondess when she wore one of Miuccia Prada’s designs.

Elle Fanning has managed to lose the shadow of her older sister Dakota since she starred in Sofia Coppola’s Somewhere late last year. The 13-year-old was crowned as the face to watch by many fashion bloggers and has yet to prove them wrong on the red carpet. Her fresh face and bright blonde hair ensure she always shines in front of the camera and her impeccable wardrobe filled with everything from Valentino Courture to Marchesa make her the envy of every woman all the world over.

Saoirse Ronan is nothing short of an elegant beauty. The 17-year-old was born in New York, but moved to Ireland when she was just three. With two Bafta nominations already under her belt this starlet will no doubt go far. Her recent role in Hanna drew many comparisons to Natalie Portman’s role in Leon, Saoirse can only dream to have the career that Portman has.

Danny McBride joins forces with James Franco and Oscar winner Natalie Portman this week for new comedy movie Your Highness.

The movie reunites Franco and McBride with Pineapple Express filmmaker David Gordon Green.

Thadeous (McBride) has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people.

Tired of being passed over for adventure, adoration and the throne, he’s settled for a life of wizard’s weed, hard booze and easy maidens.

But when Fabious’ bride-to-be, Belladonna (Zooey Deschanel), gets kidnapped by the evil wizard Leezar (Justin Theroux), the king gives his deadbeat son an ultimatum: Man up and help rescue her or get cut off.

Half-assedly embarking upon his first quest, Thadeous joins Fabious to trek across the perilous outlands and free the princess.

Joined by Isabel (Natalie Portman)-an elusive warrior with a dangerous agenda of her own-the brothers must vanquish horrific creatures and traitorous knights before they can reach Belladonna.

If Thadeous can find his inner hero, he can help his brother prevent the destruction of his land.

Latest Thor Clip

The start of the blockbuster summer is just a fortnight away – that’s when Thor finally blasts onto our screens.

Yes it seems that the summer movies start earlier and earlier every year but, hopefully, Thor will kick off the season in fine style.

Now this is one that I’m looking forward to as Chris Hemsworth leaves his TV days behind him to step into the title role.

And he is joined by Anthony Hopkins, Natalie Portman, Idris Elba as well as Kat Dennings as Kenneth Branagh, the director, has lined up an all star cast.

At the centre of the story is the mighty Thor (Hemsworth), a powerful but arrogant warrior whose reckless actions re-ignite an ancient war.

Thor is cast down to Earth by his father Odin (Hopkins) and is forced to live among humans.

A beautiful, young scientist, Jane Foster (Portman), has a profound effect on Thor, as she ultimately becomes his first love.

It’s while here on Earth that Thor learns what it takes to be a true hero when the most dangerous villain of his world sends the darkest forces of Asgard to invade Earth.

First Thor Clip

As you may have noticed in recent week I am ever so slightly looking forward to the release of Thor – so desperately hoping that it will not be a disappointment!

Anyway the first clip from the movie has arrived as the release date creeps ever closer.

Thor is the first big budget blockbuster for director Kenneth Branagh as he assembles a great cast – led by Chris Hemsworth.

The new clip sees Thor waking up on earth after being banished by his father and coming face to face with Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, for the first time.

As the release date for Thor creeps ever closer I have to admit that I really am looking forward to it – lets hope it does live to to all of the pre-release excitement. This movie looks set to send Chris Hemsworth’s career sky high – plus it’s good to see Natalie Portman return to something a little more mainstream.

Directed by Kenneth Branagh the movie boasts an all star cast of Hemsworth, Portman, Anthony Hopkins, Idis Elba and Renee Russo.

Now I have to admit that I wasn’t expecting much when I sat down to watch Pineapple Express last year – turns out it was a laugh a minute.

Why am I talking about Pineapple Express? Well director David Gordon Green has reunite with James Franco and Danny McBride for his new movie Your Higness.

Now this is a comedy that I have to admit that I am looking forward – having got Oscar winner Natalie Portman on board being one of the big reasons!

Thadeous (McBride) has spent his life watching his perfect older brother Fabious (Franco) embark upon valiant journeys and win the hearts of his people.
